Gene Upshaw Dies of Pancreatic Cancer: NFL Players Assoc. president was just diagnosed on Sunday.
*Gene Upshaw, president of the National Football League Players Association, died Wednesday night of complications from pancreatic cancer, just three days after he was diagnosed, reports Sporting News. He was 63.

I am perplexed on how a person could have terminal cancer and die within 3 days of learning he or she is sick. Does it sneak up on you like that? Even with Johhnny Cocoran, are we not in tune to our bodies, or are other people and matters more important.
