bad news. Good for the cop and the jay walking ticket that he attempted. I have almost hit these idiots that strut across the street thinking that people will stop. Of course we will if we see them. If the sun is glaring or it is night with them wearing dark clothing,they cannot always be seen. Anyone that has done much driving has encounterd this. The shooter sounds like a real bad person. Hope the cop fully recoverd.

They crossed against the red causing traffic to back up. They sauntered slowly across the street smirking at the people in the cars. One of these days, they will pull that and get hit by someone who doesn't give a crap about them.

execute the three criminals who were jay walking and tried to kill the officer. if most of you don't know their was a tactical alert in the area and we had over 300 officers looking for those three suspects. these criminals should be executed and then the police should target the gang afinlation of these suspects and teach these thugs not to shot people.

I Fully agree!!!! Thank god Officer HYDE was able to make a full recovery. That Sh#T bag should be forced to pay some sort of compensation to Officer Hyde and his family for the pain and suffering he inflicted upon them.

Good to hear! Hopefully he gets a good Torrance jury and nothing like the jury OJ had! Thankfully Ofc. Hyde recovered from his injuries and this POS was caught and now has to stand trial. Keep up the good work GPD! And people wonder why the police stop people for minor infractions! This is a great example of good police work.

Unfortunately the majority of stupid people on these boards still think this is an ideal world and the cops are actually our friends, and unfortunately it will only take an experience of the pigs harssing them and trying to hurt them to make them realize what sick bastards they are. To the shooter: shame on you for that 2006 incident, but why couldn't you redeem yourself by finishing the job on the cop? There he is, Mr. Internet Tough guy, advocating the killing of cops again. Mr. Sackless hasn't learned his lesson. Just one point genius, its enforcement, not harassment. When an officer gives out a moving violation or a ticket which deals with state laws like the California Vehicle Code, the city from where the ticket was written gets maybe 5% of that money. So the old, uneducated excuse that cops are trying to make money by giving tickets, is completely false. Again, you are making statements about how people SHOULD kill cops. I thought we explained this the last time tough guy. Stop hiding behind the computer and show one of us just how tough you really are. Remember the old saying, let people think you're stupid, rather than post something and prove it. Step up big guy!
