A West Covina man has been arrested for allegedly attacking a taxi driver with a machete during a Costa Mesa road rage confrontation.

The cabbie was struck with the flat side of the machete and the injuries were minor.

Costa Mesa police arrested 48-year-old Phong Van Trong, for investigation of robbery and assault with a deadly weapon.

Investigators say Trong and the taxi driver began cutting each other off in Fountain Valley early Sunday.

Sgt. Jerry Hildeman says the vehicle-to-vehicle conflict continued through Costa Mesa and onto the San Diego Freeway.

Police say Trong blocked the taxi driver on an offramp and they got out of their vehicles and began fighting. They say at one point Trong fetched the machete from his vehicle.

What the point of repeating the whole article? I believe you're supposed to make comments about the article, if I'm not mistaken.
