Student wears KKK T-shirt to S.C. school

I just do not understand how any parent white or black would allow a child of theirs to learn to dislike another human because of their skin color. I by the way am white, but if a child of mine came home with a shirt of this nature I would discipline the child and have the shirt either taken back to the store where it came from or discarded. When parents allow this sort of thing to happen they are really saying I don't care what sort of person you become or what happens to you, because that child will get into trpuble most likely and maybe even wined up in a jail. Parents, please love your child enough to teach them that their actions will reap a reaction.

They can open your locker any time they want to and set rules for behavior and dress and kick you out for not complying. Why? This topic should not be what should or shouldn't be allowed in publiclly funded schools. This is a free speech topic. Do I feel this should be address by Officials who think one or the other should be allowed in public schools? This is a goverment official pushing his/her beliefs on someone (right or wrong) dening them of thief Civil Rights! Tacky, YES! Illegal no! The Official should be placed on trial for civil rights violations. The parents should educate the child on hate, and what will happen in a school to someone who wears this kind of shirt. He/She will get beat down by the other students. Again a civil rights violation, but not by a public school official. The law is clear on this subject! Free speech will rule in this case!

I saw a young black girl wearing a T-Shirt with Obama's picture on the front and the words " We taking Over" on the back which I think is awful but I did not see anyone trying to stop her from wearing it. It is still a free country at least until the election. It may not last however if the democrats get their way.

I was racist for a long time, joined the army and got over it when I had to room with a black man. He turned into my best friend. now with that said, I have grown older and work at a large company which pays good money and the blacks have started making me racist again. when will they get over it, I DON"T OWE ANYBODY ANYTHING. I didn't own a slave. I believe it will get better looking at my sons friends but until our generation dies this is what it'll be. I'm proud of my heritage and I'm proud of my sons.

Yes, it seems that half of your generation is ignorant. Blacks and Whites the same. Blacks want something and beleive that whites have everything. The truth is all whites have is the advantage.
