Why not boycott Lake Havasu City?

Cops will break your chops for nothing, the motels raise prices for spring break and all long weekings. The gas prices drop after the people leave. The only thing the busnesses look forward to is counting they money after you leave.
Of course the courts still have work ripping off visitors.

As far as going to Havasu, I've been going there since the mid 70s and until 3 years ago with California plates (AZ plates 83-86). Never been hassled by the police.
As far as your girl is concerned, were you watching her 100% of time to know for a 'fact' she didn't flash anyone, which can be taken by the police as topless? I doubt it.
Sounds like the Havasu police did us all favor then if we can take you at your word that you're never going back. Then again, I doubt honesty is something you hold in high regard.

when did the change in policy happen? Oh about 1999 when a judge was appointed by the council who just retired from the police force. Appointed with no law degree and the STATED goal of having the most PROFITABLE court in Mohave.

Why dont the police catch the teens that are damaging Cars and Houses in the middle of the night? I for one have had it with comments from those who claim only those who are criminals have in fact had any issues from law enforcement. Well I work for the state, own a home in LHC, have never been arrested, but have been a victim of a crime. A crime LHC police have chosen not to follow up on claiming it was in fact non criminal. They were wrong as it was trespassing clear and simple. When people can walk in and out of your home if vacant and not harm the house it is still criminal. This happened to a home I own. The worst problem though was not this. IT was there condescending, I am better than you, I am an officer of the law I can do whatever I want attitude. To make matters worse their Watch Commandr agreed. This is not my first incident. But the real blame needs to start with our city council for not keeping the officers in check. For our magistrate who consistantly abuses his power without reading the law. Does the public know that before a judge can find you guilty, the judge as to know without a doubt you are guilty. Don't take my word for it, it is case law in the Federal Supreme court. But the judge around here uses it as a get out of jail free charge to those who don't know any better and later find out what a domestic violence charge can do to a person. Do people know in this state if you are convicted of DV you can never possess a fire arm, you can never go to the armed services, you can not even work in a store that sells guns. READ THE LAWS. IT IS PART OF THE BRADY ACT. If LHC is really tired of this then show up at council meetings and voice your concern. But remember this is the same council who wanted to clean up the channel for all its lewdness and now is asking for a Madi Gras to happen. Talk about double standards. I don't know who reads this but I sure hope all comments go public. I found this web site under corrupt cops in lake havasu.

If you don't like it here do as I am doing and move!The biggest mistake I ever made in my life was to move here. Plain an simple.
