I realize this blog is about nepotism in the judicial branch, and now that the marshals are part of judicial, its quite apparent that most of them have a connection as well. The behavior is laughable, as well as petty and mindless. How would you like to have a marshal give you daggers as you're walking down the hallway, or perhaps have soda thrown all over your car in the parking lot? Oh, yea, I feel really safe with this type of behavior. Its also very interesting that the cameras don't reach certain areas of the parking lot, so you can't prove who is doing these things. Very secure--what a joke@@@@@@@!!!

Is there CT Gestapo
Durham, CT
|
Many of us have been interviewed by a certain investigator. Did you realize he is now getting to live out his dreams of being a CT Gestapo? Seems this investigator retired from a police department after 32 years with the title of "Desk Officer." Now he goes all over the state intimadating employees and/or getting them to say what he wants them to say. PEOPLE OF CONNECTICUT- DO YOU HAVE ANY IDEA HOW MUCH THEY PAY HIM TO INFLICT HARM ON OTHERS? HARM HE WAS NEVER ALLOWED TO EXHIBIT AS A DESK OFFICER. Look, for all of you who may know the names of the investigators whom our employer uses-- all you have to do is put this person's name into a google search and low and behold there he is. So... the fact is that this person is entrusted by the state to preform a job no municipality would have allowed him to do. Guess his friend in the high place helped?

majority of its public corruption cases fall into one of five categories: legislative, judicial, regulatory, contractual, and law enforcement. Legislative corruption and judicial corruption refer to deals that influence legislators and judges, respectively. Regulatory corruption deals with government investigators, such as those that are looking into the corporate scandals of the past few years. Contractual corruption is illegal forms of persuasion connected to the distribution of government contracts. Law enforcement corruption refers to any improper attempt to sway officers of the law.

Termed Operation Court Broom, the investigation used sting tactics to net five judges and former judges, as well as six lawyers and one businessman. FBI agents put false trials on the dockets and staged meetings in which judges were bribed to suspend evidence, release information, reduce bail, and appoint lawyers to cases. The resolution of the operation took over a decade, but the guilty parties were forced to repay bribe money and to serve jail sentences. In a simple case of contractual corruption, the former Executive Director of the Texas Department of Criminal Justice was found to have been bribed by a Canadian businessman to push a contract for a food product through the department. Each man may receive as much as sixty-five years in prison and pay millions in fines.

truth will set you free wrote: The funny thing is he's on numerous "commissions" for judicial. When someone spoke out about the corruption concerning his actions during a "Public Trust (ha) Commission" hearing, he was there. The Commission didn't have any questions, they cut the person short and wouldn't let her finish reading her statement. They said her time was up, her five minutes, although there was only about 10 speakers there, if that. So, it wasn't because the meeting was going to go on for hours and hours with 30 speakers. The Public Trust Commission's solution to the comments made was to completely delete that December date, the agenda, and the minutes from the website for the Public Trust Commission...that was their solution. The bigger joke is that they actually have the audacity to put in their mission statement that "this Public Trust Commission will be open, accessible, transparent, and accountable." We were hoping the new Chief Justice, and others recently appointed, would step in and stop the madness, as they have the authority to do so. They are well aware of the allegations made against these individuals concerning the corruption. Many, many individuals have been made aware of the situation, it's going on well over a year now. One would think after being apprized, that they, indeed, HAVE A DUTY TO TAKE ACTION, because the more time that goes on, the bigger the circle becomes, the more people shall be held accountable, and their lack of action concerning this corruption, might well place them deep inside this black hole themselves....all to give their friends and family upper management jobs...real friends don't ask for favors like that...I hope it was all worth it...when you're losing you pensions...and destroying your lives...all for the favors of few greedy friends. <quoted text> no comment at this time, however i must say that this post is brilliant and yet so simple.

They are obviously afraid of some kind of adverse repercussions. You know that we have many means to establish and determine credibility. Give these people a chance.
