lying to qualify for a govt. program? If so, which one?

My dad used to buy a car tag sticker for a cheap car that had gone to the junk yard and put it on his new one. And my grandfather had someone tamper with his power meter. His electricity bill was never over 20 dollars. Besides the fools that have nice cars and homes on Peach Care. They really irk me.

Me too! Me and my husband both work full time. Unfortunately, neither of us are offered benefits. We dont have health insurance, but I feel it necessary for my son to have it. So, I applied for Medicaid, and received it for about a year until they up and cancelled it by saying we made too much money, yet we made the same salaries when I applied for it, unknown.. Then, I applied for PeachCare and was denied it for making too much $..Here we are, both working, struggling to make ends meet on a daily basis..driving used, high mileage cars, yeah we own a home, but it was HARD work getting it, and cant even get help for our son when we have worked ourselves to the bone to provide others witht the care that some DONT EVEN NEED. Now, I know I can push myself higher on the totem pole and get a better job and make a more decent living, which I am doing, and so is my husband, but it takes time and $ to do so. We are both going back to school to improve our lives, but in the mean time, cant even get help from an entity that we pay EVERYDAY...I could go on and on all day long on this subject, but it will do no good.

Wait..one more thing..
I work w/ a girl, who has been here longer than me, so i know she makes more dough than i do, who has 3 kids, dad is in jail, has a live in boyfriend, who is a high ranking officer in cobb county, she parties all of the time, her mother has kids all the time...DFCS pays her daycare, she receives $656 foodstamps a month, she pays $11.60/month rent and HAS A CHECK SENT TO HER for her bills...she told me this! AFTER i vented to her about my situation..she lies to the, point blank..it pisses me off...blah

That last paragraph just show where this nation is headed. Keep yor head up mee. Better things will come, esp. if you are advancing your education.

alot of people are paid under the table, so there is really no proof..i am not racist or anything, i promise, BUT alot of the mexicans work for cash,(white/black do too, but more illegals than anything) so they can claim they only make $100/wk, when they are making $500-$600/wk..its not fair..i think that if you are on medicaid or peachcare and your situation is helpable, then you should be made by the government to better yourself. Anyone can better themselves. Homeless, no job, no family, single w/ 500 kids, you can help yourself in more ways than one rather than depend on the government

lol..yep..sure is..wanna know something else??

my husband runs a service center, and they have people come in with vouchers from dfcs to fix their cars, get new tires, whatever you have, on cars that are no older than a 2000 model..seriously, lol...it absolutely positvely pisses him off..

I can assure they do. Some folks only pay 4 dollar a week for 40 hours worth of daycare. The govt. picks up the rest.
