Yes! Drug tests should be mandatory for teachers. Here are some others who should have MANDATORY drug tests: Cops, Lawyers, City council persons, the mayor, doctors, pilots, football players, basketball players, baseball players, musicians, actors & actresses, taxi drivers, truck drivers, golfers, the president, vice president, senators, congressmen, governors, state representatives......Did I leave anyone out??

Teachers, police cops, preachers, prosecutors and doctors should all be tested for drugs at hire and then bi-annually thereafter until they retire, then drug testing should be mandatory before receiving each retirement check and once for each subject's widow who would receive an insurance entitlement due to a tested subject becoming profiled as a decedent.

In addition to drug testing, pre-hire polygraph tests should be administered with an annual polygraph test given thereafter until retirement, when a polygraph should only be used semi-annually or before any required court testimony given by the subject, preferably after the oath is taken.

Finally, a phrenologist should be consulted during the pre-hire process to ensure that criminal profiles are avoided and career positive profiles are inducted. An additional phrenologist exam should be given at retirement to ensure that the subject is still in accordance and compliance with a positive career profile for the government assigned career path awarded to the retiree.

I agree, whats good for my 12 yr old daughter should be good enough for the people who teach her. I mean come on!
