New Orleans Fashion Week will be one of Louisiana's marquee events with attendees estimated in the
thousands, from the glittering celebrities and members of fashion's elite inner circle to politicians and other
notables prominent in the city and the nation. Fashion week in New Orleans will be an annual event,
comparable to other similar events held in New York City and Los Angeles. With a hardworking,
experienced staff, whose goal is to raise awareness of the emerging fashion industry in New Orleans, New
Orleans Fashion Week, will position New Orleans as a center for fashion in the United States capable of
holding its own against the New York’s, L.A, and Miami.
New Orleans Fashion Week will kick off this October as a multilayer showcase of both local and
international fashion designers and boutiques, consisting of various events throughout the week. The events
will be separated according to category, ranging from high fashion, swimwear, ready to wear and
accessories. The week's opening event will be a lavish gala, showcasing top designers from both here and
abroad. Days two and three will be devoted to showcasing swimwear and local designers, respectively.
The culmination of the week's festivities will be a tradeshow featuring the goods of both local, national, and
international brands and boutiques. The items at this event will be available for purchase by consumers as
well as wholesalers.
New Orleans Fashion Week LLC's goal is to bring the arts back to the region, by facilitating growth of the
fashion business in New Orleans. We will be spot lighting the nation's best design and model talent. With
an experienced and dedicated staff of fashion professionals, city and state officials, our goal is to raise
national and international awareness of the New Orleans fashion industry. NOFW will position New
Orleans as one of North America's major creative and production centers. Our fashion week is not just
about showing next season's fashions, it's about simulating the growth of the fashion business in Louisiana.
We are in the process of setting up manufacturing and sourcing capabilities for emerging designers, and we
will also be working on the state level to lobby for tax brakes for the fashion industry.
New Orleans Fashion Week team is composed of dedicated individuals, mostly multilingual and
multicultural, whom have experience in the fashion industry in one capacity or another, from makeup and
hair styling to photography, production and marketing, sales and business development.

will be held once a year. Comparable to 7th on Sixth in NYC, NOFW will soon make New Orleans a

Focused on creating a multi day event, "New Orleans Fashion Week" will kick off this fall with a series of
events showcasing local, International fashion designers and boutiques. Each event will be separated into
the classes of design, from high fashion, swim ware, ready to ware and accessories. To concentrate our
efforts "New Orleans Fashion Week" will begin a week long event starting in October.
Now’s opening event will be an extravagant fashion gala, showcasing top domestic and international
fashion designers. Day two will showcase swim ware. Day three will show case local fashion talent. The
forth and final event, will be a fashion trade show. Boutiques, designers, and all other beauty industry
professionals can offer their work, to be sold at retail and wholesale prices.
