yes, it is a good thing, but why are they being erected in the ghetto? the goal should be to get people out of the ghetto.

Think about it by building new buildings and cleaning up the neighborhood you might drive the drug dealers and problems away from the area

Yeah the only problem with that though, is they have to go somewhere and it is usually to the area that are cleaner. This makes those people have to move and it just starts a cycle. Look at this town. the areas that were bad are getting better and the better ones are getting worse. Eventually it will start all over again.

What kind low life person are you, my Aunt lives on 18th near Chestnut. She does have low income,but her house is pay for,painted has all its windows,and grass is mowed.So what kind mule/hole are you calling that the ghetto

The crime rate is off the carts in that area. Just because you aunt's house is "pay for" doesn't mean there is no crime there. Paint only hides the truth. I'm sure your aunt has stories of the happenings there and robably has been a victim a time or two.

You guys don't know a "ghetto"! There isn't a place in Terre Haute like a real ghetto. Take this from someone born and bred in St. Louis!!:)
