Obama only voted present in the Illinois senate and did nothing in the US senate. A do nothing senator who has no ideas of his own. Gee, Senator, it is the acceptable role of a state governor to SEEK OUT earmarks under our present form of government!! Every governor of any party must do this for infrastructure, development etc.

You yourself have collaborated for funding of Fermilab and Argonne National Laboratory in IL, for which we are grateful.

However, it is up to the President and Congress to weight the societal value of earmarks....Hillary's museum for the Woodstock rock concert is an example of government waste. Same for ethanol from corn subsidies, etc.

Yes, the thought on the part of McCain and his troop is that the American people are stupid. Tell them anything and they will believe it. and Obama will be the change in Washington, the same change he was in Chicago when he fought the corrupted ways of Chicago politics, when he stood up to Daley, Blagojevich and the likes. Because thanks to his great changes our real estate taxes are the highest they've ever been, our sale tax is one of the highest or the highest in the nation (am I right?) and crime is up 18%, not to mention kids are skipping school in Chicago to protest lack of funding.
Oh, yes, please bring that sort of change to Washington, we cannot wait.
I forgot to mention Chicago has the one of the highest gas price in the nation as well, and I am sure he will lower the cost of gas if he's president.

Obama votes "present" over 130 times in the Illinois senate, and has done absolutely NOTHING for Illinois since elected to the US Senate. By complaining about Governor Palin, Obama is only drawing more attention to himself as a do-nothing senator. That's what I'd call stupid.

Governor Palin works for the people in her home state. Obama. on the other hand, does nothing for the people in his home state. Where does Obama find the bases for his complaints? What is Obama trying to say? The people in Illinois should start a campaign to recall Obama. He's a perfect example of ghost payrolling, gets paid by the tax payers and does something else like running for president to satisfy his ego. Obama is a fraud. Period.
