Torrance road project ties up traffic

This is good news. Now if they would put a storm drain in on Sonoma St. just east of Madrona.

I cant believe nobody has "blamed" this on Mayor Scotto or another public servant - perhaps one that wasn't even elected yet when the project was approved.

Why can't this work be done at night when there are less cars on the road? That's what they do in Las Vegas where our roads are torn up for years.

dont worry, they'll send some trains during morning rush hour work/school commute if they do decide to do it at night when "fewer" cars are on the road.

They can't do construction at night because the street is bordered on both sides by residential areas. Unlike Vegas, people here like to sleep at night.
I'm looking forward to one of our main thruways upgrade.

I agree, Obama can fix everything in life. He would fix the road with his own hands, balance the budget and create world peace at the same time.

can they please fix all the potholes on Palos Verdes Boulevard, it ridiculous and patching for the 100th time wont work.

Torrance spent thousands for new welcome signs at entry points to the city. What it should say is; Welcome to Torrance, home to some of the crummiest roads in America. Why is it some cities like Lakewood / Cerritos are able to regularly repave and repair their roads while Torrance can not?
