I wonder if they had been growing Amanitas (a mushroom that contains a poison that kills and does not offer any hallucinogenic properties) if the cops would have gone this far.
Why would a psychedelic mushroom be illegal while one that offers nothing but poison be legal?

x-ray vision binoculars to search the house first for weapons and then instead of surprising them with flashbangs and forcing the door they should have called and made an appointment to arrest them. Better yet maybe you should be the one to knock next time if you can do better.
