Police work now consists of paying informants thats it. No stake out or investigation. All they need is someone to point the finger to get a warrant. Depending on how its written the police can throw grenades, bullets, batons and mace before asking a single question. This country is going down the tubes because of bad leadership. We need to take our country back. ALX, A high school education is a lot more then these criminals have. The majority of crooks that I book, have dropped out in the 9th or 10th grade. FYI - MPD, PGPD, MCPD all have a 2 year degree requirement. Before you start chasing the lie behind your stupidity, maybe you should see what the requirements are of a police officer first. Maybe while you are taking your 5 minute break at McDonalds, you can use someone's computer real quick and look up the information so you can give an educated response. the police should never ever wonder why the public doesn't want to assist them in crime solving. even law-abiding citizens are treated like crap! and all this done without explanation or apology?! their incompetence is mindboggling!!

This is a case where the police raided the right house, but did not locate the evidence they were coming for. It does not mean they had the wrong house, it just means they didn't get what they expected. This woman and her roommate "BUSTER BUTLER" need to get on with their lives, and stop being associated with homicide suspects. Stupid, ignorant, and uneducated people are what makes society the way it is now and days. Hey american dude, That is what happens when you are a whiteyamerican dude homey.

GOOD JOB Officers. I am glad some has the b*lls to try and keep me and my family safe. For all of you who have something negative to say about the police, put on uniform and go do their jobs. Let's see how intelligent and brave YOU would be. As I suspect, the vast majority of you are COWARDS!!!!
Let's not forget this warrant was issued in connection of a HOMICIDE.

I would be scared to death if they ever stopped me while I had my dog in the car with me. Killing peoples dogs seems the be their favorite game to play! Most of them really are nothing more than bullies with badges.

Anonymous wrote: <quoted text> Jody, do you have half a brain? THEY WERE SERVING A SEARCH WARRANT, maybe there was an ARREST WARRANT attached. The reason they BUSTED INTO THE HOUSE, was because it was a SEARCH WARRANT. For a HOMICIDE investigation. There is no knock and announce for high risk warrants like this. If you want to act like you have any clue of what's going on, then do a freaken ride along sometime. Otherwise, shut your trap...you have zero clue about what you are talking about. Signed, A police officer Oh, that's priceless.... That's all fine and good Mr. Police Officer. Except that they were WRONG, they didn't find anything did they? Why don't they just kick in EVERY door until they finally find something? I sure you think the officers that busted in at Berwyn and started blasting at the families pets are the cream of the crop too. You are the one with half a brain. I'm no cop, but I'm sure I could figure out a way I could gain access to that house without busting the place up or using grenades or anything. You guys are just bullies with badges! You guys are worse than the criminals. I don't want to ride with you while your out killing peoples dogs. I don't want anything from you! If I looked out the window and saw a masked man with a gun lurking around my neighborhood, I'd never call the PD. More likely you would show up and shoot either me or my dog.

Alot of search warrants in DC come up with little or nothing. Its obvious alot of you really don't understand how the process works in DC and how long it takes to get the warrant (sometimes days). Plus a majority of search warrants come after an arrest is already made and we are searching for MORE drugs or MORE ammo/guns that may be there. It is no secret that if you are arrested for dealing your house will be hit. So its no big surprize that the place is cleaned up prior to us coming. Do we make mistakes, sure we do, but the whole process has many steps and requires several independant reviews and finally one by a Judge before approval.
Some of your posts are just silly.
Wow, now the police are the problem?. I hate to admit it but most of what we do is reactive you fool. I rarely respond to prevent a crime. Of the many calls I went to last night only one probably prevented an assualt from happening. The rest... a shooting, a lady smoking PCP and driving her 5 and 6 year old kids around blown out of her mind, etc..... were all the result of someone who can not control themselves. A lack of self control, morals, respect and care for others and the community as a whole are the problem. Blame others, sue, ignore it, whatever, but lets not be responsible or help. We don't get to "play cops and robbers" much. Its more like being the parent of a 3 year old who wants to have his way is throwing a temper tantrum.

Good job police. With all the education, training, tools (ie. GPS, computers, etc) that we have, and you all bust into the wrong home? Did the police just spontaneously plan this evolution? Geeez, cmon!

Did the police just spontaneously plan this evolution? Geeez, cmon! In what article did you read that the police busted in the wrong home? The header to this article says "D.C. Police apparently Raid Wrong Home"....and the woman who had her house raid says that. However, nothing in the article whatsoever indicates that the wrong home was raided. The police had a search warrant to search that house, for certian evidence. Now with your GPS, and all the technology in your house, can you tell me how that makes it the wrong house?

America is becoming a police state. The government can freely wiretap our phones, hold prisoners at Guantanamo for no reason other than that someone "suspects" them of being "enemy combatants." The TSA terrorist watch list contains the names of thousands of innocent American citizens (even small children). I sure hope the Democrats win in November and roll back some of these outrageous violations of our Constitution. Bush just considers the Constitution and the Bill of Rights to be simple pieces of paper rather than the heart and soul of America. I hope history remembers him for trying very hard to become the first American dictator.
