I read "don't be an a** vote for mayor Rash" I got a good chuckle from that, and never forgot it. If you stopped in a honky tonk in Anawalt, it would have been the local bar and believe me their sign wouldn't have said vote FOR mayor rash, it probably said don't vote for mayor rash because the daddy honky tonk hates the mayor

I believe if you go down to town hall and check the court docket, which they must show you, you will find Chief Wyckoff has written no more than five tickets in his career at Anawalt. He stops people but seldom writes them I am not affiliated with the town but am around enough to know.

Well I have heard cops talk about a blue light special and I do not know what some people think it is but I know what they are talking about.MEANING OF A BLUE LIGHT SPECIAL---- Any thing and everything will be pulled over if there is a reason. Headlight, taillight ect, Most do this to find people with no insurance. no driving licence wrong tags and even wanted people have been found doing this. There are a lot of good cops that do there jobs and a lot of good people that go by the laws but there is good and bad on both sides of the Badge

LOL means bramwell but, like all his apparent facts, they are sketchy. Rumors on a police officer always abound. If he is lax then all he does is goof off and chase women or sleep or play video games. If he is strict then he wrote a ticket for three miles over or he swapped physical favors to drop a ticket. Seldom are all of the rumors true and, if the story is good, often the same story is told about several officers. Fred is not owrking in Anawalt, however; and the original thought core of this thread had to do with Chief Wyckoff. Typically of this media, it quickly changed to insults and jeers about the town or it's residents or administration. For very little pay, Chief Wyckoff gives a presence where there was none. That should be the main concern of those in and near Anawalt.

when i mentioned he was not writing many tickets I was redressing the issue someone on the thread said about all those petty tickets the chief was writing. I know the man and he works til four and sometimes six in the morning at Welch PD then is out by 8 am to sit in the school zone. He is genarally out in the school zone every evening. The few major calls I have heard on the scanner since he has been chief, he has asked the state police for help with. SO I don't see where he is causing that much stir except the Anawalt area traditionally resents authority and officers. If his presence in the school zone saves one life or his driving through town discourages one break in, he has earned his keep.

I believe he worked in Bramwell at that time so I get the drift.

Is that a cry for help because he can't do his job because he is up all night somewhere else? No one on here is bashing anyone. We are all wondering how he can work so many hours for WePD....then go to Kimball...then go to Keystone. It is bull that he is the only cop trying to do something.

He doesn't work in Kimball and only works in Welch a few hours a week. I think they have it under control.

wait a minute... I was talking about wyckoff at welch then out in the mornings. YOU must be referring to McKinney. He really only works Kimball and Welch. He holds the position in Keystone so a certified officer is available but the uncertifieds do most of the work, Rutherford is in tthe academy now . Most likely when he graduates, he will replace McKinney in Keystone. That wasn't a cry for help that was admiration for Wyckoff doing that for the kids. First you guys switch this to fred, now to McKinney. Neither currently work in Anawalt. My comments are about Anawalt POlice Chief Wyckoff

Fred got fired from his deputy position when his 'lady friend' went to the county and told them how he put her on the hood, turned on the blue lights, and gave her the ole sausage link. She said he called it his blue light special. That wasn't all she told but it cost him his job. Could you blame him? Any blue light special would beat a roll in the sack with Eba Soooooooo. LOL.
