Milton Township man gets 30 years for '06 slaying of mother

A Wheaton -area man with a history of domestic violence and mental illness pleaded guilty but mentally ill Wednesday to fatally choking and stabbing his mother two years ago.

Sounds more like the legal system failed here to,he was convicted before and never made to do his community service. And his mom would always bail him out,instead of getting him some help. She didnt deserve to die,but he also deserved to get help way back. Bailing kids out makes things worse,your not helping them you creating more problems for them. Now look she's dead and he will serve most of his life locked up
