For the last time, if you have an inquiry regarding your "accusation" referenced above, feel free to contact any Board Member directly with your concerns. I can assure you that our non-profit organization has never and will never loan money to anyone, regardless of their financial situation. What you, and others like you, fail to understand is the potential harm you cause by perpetuatiting this baseless hysteria. If you truly support our league and want us to remain functioning in the upstanding role we fulfill today in our community, you will stop taking shots at a completely innocent target. Your argument about making our league stronger makes absolutely no sense within the context you raise it. All of this anonymous blog garbage can only create an unnecessary distraction away from our focus on the core purpose of supporting our children in a healthy, clean, safe and ethical environment. Why are you so defensive? I'm not accusing the league of any wrong doing. What you fell to understand is that if there are individuals making allegations, just clear the air. Perhaps making a statement on the web site stating,“MPLL is operating with full integrity”. I believe this will put some of these rampant rumors to rest.

Shut up and if MRLL has nothing to hide you have nothing to worry about, same as Vince, right? You must be dizzy from talking yourslelf in circles.

To all of you pathetic cowards who are quick to jump to a conclusion with no direct knowledge of facts but base your opinion's solely on paper clippings and Gossip, YOU DISGUST ME! Fact #1 Vince has not even had a preliminary hearing and many of you have convicted him. Fact #2 No individual from the FBI or local law enforcement have given a statement that this case is closed and all leads exhausted, this investigation is STILL PENDING and ON GOING. Fact #3 The only person at this time who knows the truth is Vince. Fact #4 All of you spineless cowards will continue to hide under a rock and wait for the next misfortune to jump on the band wagon to throw stones that are strictly out of spite, ignorance and jealousy. Fact #5 Life for the CANTU FAMILY will be rough ahead but with support from family and true friends, this tragic time will pass. Fact #5 I am proud to say i am a friend of the Cantu family who has my total support and prayers. Fact #6 MRLL is for the kids and will continue to be a positive impact to the community. Fact #7 This whole incident is tragic.

MRLL has much to be concerned about. This guy (Cantu) who apparently the police are picking on (lol) was a major role player in the league. MRLL is so blind to the facts, your agent is in Federal custody, wake up.
His character is in great question, this character flaw does not just happen over night. He has isssues and I assume will find he has many issues. The league better seperate itself from Cantu ASAP. MOst of these board members like Cantu are not sucessful in thier private lives or work, that is why they require this attention.
Good Luck MRLL at one time it was a great league from the 70's to the 90's

Friend wrote: <quoted text>Well said! Get real. I find it very difficult to believe the police, sheriffs, and Feds are picking on Mr. Cantu. When was the last you were arrested for bank robbery. Admit it you are a poor judgement of character and your friend fooled you. YOu may need to reevaulate the way you define good people or friends

Fact - prior to Vince Cantu being arrested, a lot of people had a very positive memory of Vince. How do you not like his humor, friendship, commitment to MRLL, his reputation of being a good family man and pillar of the community. This incident seems to have changed or should i say erased all of the positive things we remember about Vince's accomplishments. Fact - Vince will probably never be able to erase this bank robbery incident. Fact This is a reality check for all. Listen to what everyone is saying NOW... Because if you were involved or accused of a terrible crime... What would they be saying about YOU or your family. Fact, People on this blog have displayed their true colors through comments and have expressed poor judgement without feeling financially stressed, depression, hopelessness or any other hardships... Yet they cast stones without any compassion. I personally look forward to seeing Vince in the future -- maybe in a week, months or even years , I truly believe Vince will overcome this tragedy and make a positive difference because thats the Vince Cantu i know. I PRAY for all the lost souls who believe they are so righteous and pass judgement without knowing ALL OF THE FACTS of why this happen. I also pray for forgiveness because i am not perfect and am upset with myself that i was unable to help stop or prevent such a tragedy ( but i don't think anyone could have saw this coming). Most of all, i Pray for the Cantu family to get all of the help and guidance needed during this time. LAST FACT -- whether or not the outcome is Good or Bad, I Thank God for several individuals who have become stronger pillars in the Whittier community (And YOU KNOW WHO YOU ARE) as they step up to the plate hitting Home Runs while Vince is absent pending his trial. Again Just the facts...i am EOW

Once again, we cast stones because we don't rob banks.
