Great, positive message. I've lived in Los Angeles for the last 25 years and I feel good that the mainstream press in the Southland is finally recognizing this vibrant immigrant community. I hope you will continue to cover such events in the future.

I'm afraid, I've to point out some of the picnickers got a few stuff wrong, dead wrong. For instance, the shopping malls in Bangladesh aren't in tents (where did she get that notion!). And yes, if you want you can be a conservationist or an environment activist or a policewoman or a soldier or whatever else you want because, simply stated, there are women who're in these professions in Bangladesh already.
