Re "Pay to play limiting the field" : Talk about "legal" shakedowns. The LAUSD's after-hours fees sound more like usury fees charged by the Mafia's best loan sharks.

Harris Goldman's comments criticising Speaker Pelosi's dead on position that offshore drilling is a bad way to go are as out there as some of the comments I hear from homeless crackheads on skid row.

Harris, try reading some of the readily accessible information showing that the addiitional oil that may be provided by new offshore drilling and even drilling from the ANWR, would only lower the price of gas by a few cents. Add an asterisk to note that the results of this new drilling might not bring additional oil for several years.

Stop acting like a blind true believer and do some research for yourself.

Hmmm, if you burn something within a closed area what happens? The place fills up with smoke. I have news for Harris Goldman; the Earth is essentially a big bubble. When we burn fossil fuel, where does the waste go? Into the atmosphere. It doesn't escape into space. It doesn't miraculously evaporate. It builds up. If you want to believe that Global warming is only an "unproven theory", go ahead. As they say; "igonorance is bliss".
