Probably the lawsuit that should have included the Pettys because Dodge sucks and GEM may have swindled the best swindler in Nascar. Technical experts, I think not. GEM is trying to kick Rob to the curb.

Should be shown on Tru Tv on Direct TV. Would like to see the whining and cryin in the courtroom.

Lets see, He'll get a four year driving contract. Sit on the board of GEM. Plus $23 mill. Does he really think he's going to get a better deal else where?

No where in this article did they falsely accuse Robbie of being the sharpest knife in the draw. At some point in time John Menard is going to quit backing this idiot and his operation is going to fold up faster than he can imagine. Apparently he hasn't heard the phrase "show me the money".

IMO, Tony may have offered him some interest in Stewart-Haas in exchange for the owners points. Haas and RGM are located in the same buiness park in charlotte if im not mistaken. Stewart would be more keen to the extra ciricular activities that Robby like to try...

That be the only reason I would see robby wanting out of the GEM deal.

Think Menard kicked Rob to the curb back in Feb/Mar when Rob stated that "John Menard is like a second father to me". Bleh.

GEM wants Rob's shop and car, not Rob. Never has, never will. Everyone knows Rob always has said the dumbest things. GEM just put the clause in and waited for Rob to screw up.

No the money and the seat were a lure to get Rob to sign and with the "issues" that Rob is having just made it easier to sucker him. Yup not the sharpest tool in the shed.

What owner's points would Rob have that would be of value? GEM is making certain he drops like a stone to devalue the car and make any kind of points deal untouchable.

Say what you like but the guy is a good business man. Any person that makes it that far on his shoestring budget must do something right. Cheers to Robby.. GEM should be trying to get there teams to run. Dodge sure must be dissapointed!

I think he is a smart business man but he has been distracted this year and its gonna cost him big. Its sad. But he does this stuff to himself. Sad. I've often wondered if he has some sort of personality disorder.

He just wants to race. He pissed RC off with the INDY/BAJA/Busch stuff he was doing. When RC asked him to cool it off with the extra cirriculars and focus on Cup (what RC was paying him to do) Robby cocked an attitude and then stated talking about leaving so he can do things "his way".

Robby really could have been great if he knew how to shut up and listen...

Then again, he's won in Indy, Cup, Busch, Stage wins in DAKAR, Baja, SCORE....

A lot more than others can say....

I like Robby Gordon always have but why would he not jump on this deal? He's struggling big time. The only personality flaw he has is he's majorly competitive and he takes chances that seldom work out! My favorite Robby Gordon quote.

I think this is so funny how everyone has these dumb ass opinions. Maybe there is something bigger. I am sure he didnt turn down the GEM deal to continue to run the way he is running. Why not wait and get the whole story before you all make your opinions. There is alot more to this then you guys know and until it all comes out why dont you all give the guy the benifit of the doubt. Damn i would hate for any of you to be judge and jury.

And you think that would actually happen for how long exactly? Ask Mayfield or Riggs about how things work with Ray. I think he realized he'd made a huge mistake.

Just look at his off road operation. He is highly respected on the international racing scene (Baja, Dakar) and they build great vehicles themselves. I think he got scammed by GEM. There has been bad blood there for awhile. From day one GEM has been a frickin nightmare for Robby. That and then all the personal crap, life doesn't look like much fun for him right now. Robby just says it like it is but some people don't like to hear the truth. Listen to the scanner every week, the engines are junk! Ray set him up to fail for sure.

Yeah Right. The other GEM cars aren't running that great either, but its all Ray's fault. YEAH RIGHT. You need to get in reality. Robby ran his mouth and did things that he wasn't suppose to do per the agreement and he dumped Ford before GEM even wanted him to. But then that's just Robby being Robby. He thought he knew more than anyone and he may have a better offer on the table but he agreed to another prior to that. And that's not a fair business man. He got himself in this mess and he's a big boy he can get himself out. Robby has sued more people in this sport than anyone, even when he walked out himself on one contract. Well, what goes around comes around.
