So why are there over 500,000 children in foster care in the US right now?
http://www.acf.hhs.gov/programs/cb/stats_rese...
The process is broken. It's too hard and takes too long to adopt a child, not to mention there are too many restrictions on who can and cannot adopt.
Until this problem can be fixed, abortion remains the responsible way to prevent yet more unwanted children from entering this broken system.
The Social Security, Medicare/caid, and Welfare, Unemployment, and Worker's Comp. Systems are broken too, so following your logic...

Let's kill all the old, poor, unemployed, injured, and sick Americans too.

Just because it's more CONVENIENT for you to murder your unwanted child, doesn't make it the right thing to do.

Get over it. Who made you God to tell other people what choices to make with their lives and body? I know you like to trivialize the decision for a mother to take a life but that is another sick f*ck attitude you have. Most women examine all sides of the issue before having an abortion. You actually think the state or some sick f*ck evangelical church can make a better decision than the woman carrying the child (if it is). In most cases the abortion doesn't involve anything close to a human being.

"Let's kill all the old, poor, unemployed, injured, and sick Americans too." You are by your insane policies that pro-life only applies to birth and not the life. Stop being a dumbshit.

No one, never claimed to be GOD. And like I said previsouly, you should be able to do what you want with your own body and life as long as it doesn't impact another life.

Actually, no, most don't think about the decision at all, other that "Oh $hit, I'm pregnant, I can't have a baby..."
The "decision" is only a matter of convenience (or rather INconvenience). Abortion is used as a for of birth control for many and that "decision" should have been made long before abortion was ever an issue or an option.

Aside from being an angry liberal (just a wild guess...lesbian), you obviously don't understand sarcasm. The "Let's kill all the old, poor, unemployed, injured, and sick Americans too." was a sarcastic reply to someone's previous illogical thought process.

Having to explain it to you kind of nullifies any of your ideas since you're hardly qualified to put a thought together.

So did Newt till he slammed his dick in a door. It's called pork deliverance. He also is powerful enough after all these years to make you disappear in Congress if you cross him. Thought you Republicans would be impeaching Bush and Cheney by now. When did Byrd become Speaker of the House?
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Robert_C._Byrd

...Byrd is President pro tempore of the United States Senate of the 110th United States Congress, a position that puts him third in line of presidential succession, behind Vice President Dick Cheney and House Speaker Nancy Pelosi.

Yes, you really did beat down the strawman. Good for you!!
And I gave you Robert Ku Klux Klan Byrd. Current (D) Senator of West Virginia as simple and obvious proof of DEM racist.

Sorry. You lose...again.

An embryo is not a baby. A fetus is not a baby.
And the helplessness or defensiveness of an unwanted embryo, despite your emotionally charged rhatoric, is irrelevant.
If a host wants to get rid of a parasite, and has the ability to do so, it has every right in the natural world to.
Seems you've not followed previous & current Obama votes so here's a refresher:

Obama voted to deny medical attention to a baby born alive after a failed abortion attempt.

He voted to deny Human and US Constitutional rights to a living, breathing newborn but unwanted US citizen.

That's a long way from an embryo son.

Next time, get a clue or up to speed before chiming in with an irrelevant comment.

Please, try to focus. We're discussing Tom Ridge, and how a man who singlehandedly created a national duct tape shortage was later added to the board of directors for one of the largest duct tape retailers in the country.
Bwahahaha!
Why would I ever listen to an idiot like you?

Not to ruin a good bit of hate speech by introducing the facts, or anything, but...

The legislation that Obama voted against was written in such a manner that replaced the word "fetus" with "child", and was in fact, a back-door attempt to ban ALL reproductive rights for women.

As a U.S. Senator, he voted FOR the surviving children of botched termination procedures, because the language was better defined.

Face it, if republicans were only allowed to run on the FACTS and the ISSUES, instead of spreading lies about their opponents' character, they would never win another election.

Let's bring out the "Swiftboat List", shall we?

So far, we have heard:

1. That Obama is a Muslim.
2. That he endorses everything ever said by the Reverend Wright, who is most definitely not a Muslim.
3. That Obama supports the murder of living children.
4. That Obama is affiliated with every Black activist group in US history, and supports domestic terrorism.
5. That Obama will run a racist government and will be the end of the white race as we know it.

If you are stupid enough to believe any of this, and you vote accordingly, you will get the exact government you deserve.

Such posturing, over what was obviously a simple misunderstanding, is a LL hallmark.

If you count Bush as first, then Pelosi is third. If you count Cheney as first, then Byrd is third. End of story.

Really?

You wouldn't happen to have that baby's name, would you?

I'd like to do some research.

Tom Ridge would be a great choice, but I don't think it will happen. McCain needs to solidify his base with the social conservaties, especially in the south in states that are normally red. Gambling on winning a purple PA is not a solid game plan.
Ridge would bring economic and foreign policy experience, and it would help wean the party away from relying on its social conservative policies that aren't wining over the younger generation of voters. To me, this is the direction that the party must go. It must prove it is truly the party of fiscal conservatism and strong national defense. But, I don't think it will happen. They'll use our usual hail mary, the religious right, to try to bail us out of this mess.
Since the religious right can not mind thier own business about others thoughts and reproductive choices, I WISH THEY WOULD ALL DIE SLOWLY IN FIERY AUTO CRASHES. I HATE YOU PEOPLE, MIND YOUR OWN BUSINESS YOU SUPERSTITIOUS APES.

Always can count on you for another idiotic post.
Population control, abortion and birth control are some of the greatest ideas ever! Quite seriously.(though religiously stupid superstitious types with their thousands of year old book of SH!T will never get it...) No overpopulation, no unwanted crack babies, less pressure on resources, no republican POS refusing to fund your schools - it's all good. Seriously, we are not rats who have to breed without question - we cover this earth like a freaking plague already.
