Marine Corp Pat foolish ... you're so far in the tank for Obama that you must have trouble finding room for the gas. Obama's entire life is one lie after another. Everything he has said is for one purpose only, to deceive the mindless into voting for him. Congratulations on your succombing to the deception. If Bush could lie as well as Barack Hussein, the Dems would not hate him so much.

I also like Baracks toughness; you will not see them push him around and him not push back. That is what the Democratic Party needs. Bill Clinton showed us in the 90s every time he beat the snot out of the Republicans (thats why they hate him so much, because they could never beat him). Taking public finance would have given McGeritol an advantage; so he was smart enough to say hell no, I will have real public finance through internet donors. GOD BLESS BARACK OBAMA, THE DEMOCRATIC PARTY AND THE UNITED STATES OF AMERICA! OBAMA 08 pat is a proven fraud...looking for a free handout (free handout LOL)

The only real issue here is the one Max raised. I do not fault Obama for declining Federal funding. I only fault him for saying he would accept Federal funding and then not only changing his mind, but also blaming it on Republican 527's when the Democratic 527's have a 4-1 money advantage. I would love it, though, if he found all his primary donors were tapped out or that many, like Kos, are so upset by his changing positions that they will not donate. Wouldn't it be fun if it turned out Obama had less money than McCain? That would be ironic. Rick

I wonder how much of Obama's millions are coming under the table and through the back door from rich Muslims overseas who hate America?

I read Marine Corps Pat's remarks before I read the responses. I'm glad that there is near unanimous agreement that this character is a fraud.
But, you must admit, frauds find a cozy haven with the Obama/Dem team.
As for campaign finance reform, I told you so. Already the posts are pouring in from the disinformation teams on what a spectacular show of courage it is for Obama to take the Soros megabucks out of the washer/drier.

Max wrote: I wonder if Mr. Gordon even realizes that it was the Democrats who lead the effort to pass campaign finance "reform" leading to the McCain/Feingold Act. Obama can whine all he wants about "it's not working" but that will not change the record on which Party clamored to have it exactly the way it is today, in the face of those who predicted exactly what would happen. Of course, Mr. Obama was all for the current system until he realized he could raise enormous sums of money, much more than his opponent. Then reality set in, and presto, the current system is "broken". McSame would have done the same thing had he crawled out of the pre-historic ages and into the time of computers and internet. Good for you Obama, now keep that campaign cranking and do America a favor by WINNING this election!

Obama has absolutely NOTHING to do with the mess we are currently in. And ANYTHING besides McSame will bode well for America!!!

Hey asshole, the Saudis gave millions to Bush. You know what other family gave a ton of dough to Bush: bin Laden. The family of the guy who was behind 9/11. I've either seen things that have been completed invented about Obama, or things that the Republicans do pinned on Obama. You rednecks are pathetic. No wonder this country will soon be dominated by Hispanics. Years of inbreeding have rendered you retarded!

Obama has money to burn, and I wonder how much of it is laundered from foreign doners who want to bring this country down? BTW: Why are many of the Obamatrons so insulting when they step outside their circle and interface with people who happen to disagree with them? I think the first task of the faith healer from Chicago should be to civilize his own supporters.

And you are correct, however, think about the difference in the political climate from Carter and Clinton to Bush. We were not as viligent then as we are now...post 9-11. Stands to reason that after a tragedy of such magnitude, the passivity is bound to change, regardless of who is at the helm. It's kind of like wondering why Regan didn't do anything to prevent 9-11. Until something like this happens, it's hard to blame those before who didn't do enough to keep future peace. Hindsight is 20/20!

Well one thing we do know about Obama....he isn't one of the oilwhores in the White House. He has a much better chance of working out the energy crisis (after all, he's much smarter than 'W' could ever wish to be) than ole McSame who will no doubt continue the current 'Bush' policy, making sure all his good buddies make lots of money at the expense of every hard working American citizen. Thanks, but I'll vote for Obama and his intellect everytime over John McSame (who's only concern is continuing the war...it's all he knows and at least he admits it).

Yeah his intellect. He knows when to lie and how to use his lies for gain. He lied about public finance. He gave his word and signed on the dotted line.
