As a veteran I know that Thelma Drake has always looked after veterans and the men and women in the military. She voted against the Democrat's attempt to pass Webb's GI bill because it was attached to a massive tax increase. Even the US Senate would not support the House Democrats course on this bill. Drake and her fellow Republicans demanded that the tax increases be removed. The Democrats caved in to Drake's demands. When the GI Bill was brought back to floor of the House Drake voted for it. It's the Democrats you should be upset with. They are the ones playing politics with veterans the military. They are dispicable and hyper-partisan. Thelma Drake is consistently putting the needs of the families in her district first. Thank you, Thelma!!
