Bush: check's in the mail

These rebates are not going to help at all. Where are they going to go? Right back into the pockets of the oil industry through people having to buy gas or into savings accounts to plan for the 'worst'.

My check is already gone, going for rent. The stuff I need will have to wait. There are way more important things to pay like bills to spend it on something I need.

The checks mean nothing for the economy. He needs to collect in full for the cost of this war from the Iraqi's. Then maybe the checks would be a reasonable amount. Would a $10,000 check help? Awww, there we go!

This check will only help those who do not have a job. They can buy something they want. The rest of us will have to buy GAS to get too work. SO we can pay for those on Goverment Assistant programs who could get a job. Goverment Assistant programs are to help those trying to help themselves.
Let's Drug test those on these programs before we sent a check or debit card. I have to take a drug test to go to work and could be tested anytime. WHY ARE THEY NOT TESTED!!!

Excellent idea. But probably won't happen soon. Too many of these bums use welfare and food stamps, ect as a hammock, instead of a safety net, as intended.

I believe Bush is doing all he can to help the american people, and the reason is because he didn't ask for the terrorist attacks against us. If anyone else was in his position they would have cracked a long time ago. In my opinion Bush is doing the best he knows how.

No doubt the Bush presidency has faced tragedy and hardship but an intelligent man would have been a much more fit leader in hard times. His solutions to problems like the economic crisis are half ass and make no sense. I think he just wanted to give a nice gift to say sorry for a presidency that has damaged this country immensely.
