joking aside, no I really think we need to know what we are getting ourselves into (HAHA). As much as some people would not like to admit it, sex is a major part of a healthy relationship. And if a person REALLY cannot be worked with then, for me it is a deal breaker. You cannot be happy in a relationship with out some sort of sex.

And ,ladies,do you want a guy that has fooled around,had herpes,and crabs,or any other disease before you,and may transfer it to you,same for the guys?????

My answer is not before for young people,virgins,and maybe ok for older second time around folks. Maybe this is just old fashioned butis a decent rule to go by.

See this is where the lines of communication come into play. One needs to ask those questions of their sexual parnter. I was married once before, and divorced (raped by my ex husband too) so when me & my current hubby got together I told him that I was clean of all std's and HIV, he had been with the same gal for years & years and for MY piece of mind went & had an HIV test too.

We have been together 13 yrs this summer, married 7 yrs in just about a week, no deseases, no aids, no nadda!

I was not a virgin when I married my first husband either, but before we had sex, there was an std and HIV test to be taken. I don't have many partners, but regardless of what the man says to me, I demand an HIV test before having sex, pretty simple really. COMMUNICATION if you have issues with your partner or potential partner's past, then don't sleep with them.

IF more people talked about sex before having it, there would be less spread of std, less unwanted or unexpected pregnancy, there would be less desease and if everyone demands safe sex (condom folks) then the spread of desease can be stopped.

Am I a saint? HELL NO, am I a hoochie mama? HELL NO, have I had more than 3 partners in my 37 yrs, yes, about 7 to be exact 3 of which were very serious(1st fiance passed away from cancer, 2nd is now my ex husband & 3rd was my first and last, we were high school sweethearts once upon a time before getting back together 13 yrs ago), one was my on again off again, the other 3 just didn't work out.

No its not wrong at all. Nothing is worse than getting stuck with something you really didnt want. Sexual incompatibility makes up a good percent of the reasons stated for that huge 50% divorce rate. And besides, what if a young person does abstain? wont his choices for another abstinent partner be very very slim? Abstinence isnt a cure-all like they try telling kids now adays...

I have two friends, both married for a short span of years, and both have had sex so few times they can count them...
