Question for JW's concerning blood

I know what you are referring to. Several years ago the Watchtower Society was trying to get the country of Bulgaria to grant JW's freedom of religion. The Bulgarian government said they would recognize JW's as a legitimate religion if the Watchtower Society agreed to not punish JW's for taking blood transfusions. The WTS agreed that taking a blood transfusion would no longer be a disfellowshipping offense. The country of Bulgaria then granted JW's freedom of religion.

But the WTS played a trick on Bulgaria. They no longer disfellowshipped JW's for taking a blood transfusion but now considered them to have disassociated themselves. There is absolutely no difference between disfellowshipping and forced disassociation! Either way one is no longer considered a JW and is shunned.

Did those at the Kingdom Hall know this boy was being beat by his father? If so, they should have called the police and had this guy arrested for child abuse.

Why can't you give a simple, straight-forward explanation as to why you are absolutely positive that the Bible forbids blood transfusions? The purpose of this thread is to debate the JW blood doctrine. If you aren't willing to defend a doctrine you are willing to die for then why are you here?

I do obey what the Bible says about fornication, idolatry and blood. I disagree with the Watchtower's claim that the Bible forbids blood transfusions. Any Witness can easily supply a scriptural explanation of why they do not accept blood transfusions, but it would not satisfy you. You are not open to any explanation unless it would be a scripture like I invented.

Those who want the truth from God's Word must dig for it like for hid silver (Proverbs 2:1-13). They must get to know Jehovah thoroughly, his likes and dislikes, how he views things such as blood and idolatry. They must discern principles and apply them to things in modern life, like blood transfusions, things which were not in existence when the Bible was written.

Do that work prayerfully and with an honest heart, and then you will have your scriptural answer. That's what we did and that's how we came to our position.

the other one is not even a jw. and the one who follows her is who knows.

but when they are here they create trouble. I miss Topsy's wife's posts. i really did. they were educated and she appears to be a great lady.. but nevada ruined all that.

then chandler the other person not sure if he is a jw says something so cruel that another nice person left here.

they are not here to learn or to be civil and decent. nevada went as far as saying a friend here who almost died was a liar this is how jws. behave?? no why?

because i introduced to a family who are jws.. they are appalled at the words they use. and they also said if they really had Jehovah in their heart they would not even be here.

so when others who come here to learn or ask.-- they get together and come in and trash everyone. if they know what religion you are they go find articles to mock your faith... and nevada... oh she really made a fool of herself. instead of reading a whole article she found on my behalf was that a priest murdered a nun... what she forgot to do was read the articel.. it was not a catholic nun it was not a catholic priest. he was not apriest and she was not a catholic nun.

but these three come here and mock everyone an force people who you can learn from to leave.

i am sorry but if these three and gareth who is also not a baptized jw left? i believe the conversations on this board would be more civil

and i researched on my own and i do not believe for a minute third witness is a jw either.

but this org takes it's toll on normal people. I read the stories here and on other places. I do not believe they lie. i think it is these few who make this org really look bad and the org should see this.

How do you know what would satisfy me? Can you read my mind? I simply asked you to explain why you are absolutely sure that the Bible forbids blood transfusions. How do you know that I'm not open to any explanation? On what basis are you judging me? Give your explanation and see how I respond. I'm certainly open to a logical, Scriptually based explanation but you refuse to provide one. I suspect you don't have much confidence in your explanation or you would have given it by now instead of coming up with one lame excuse after another.
