Sure he has a good contract from radio - where do you you think they get their money from? You putz - hope you're laughing all the way to run and pay for him. His money comes from advertising dollars and syndication fees. Don't know much about commercial radio do you? He also sells Rush Limbaugh products and a newsletter that bring in big bucks. But you know what? At the end of the day, while you're calling people putz, he has a $400 million dollar contract to work through 2016, a private jet, a mansion in Florida and gives more money to charity than you do. I'd say the accomplishments, wealth, philanthropy and the job security he enjoys kinda makes you feel a little inadequate doesn't it? So, would you turn down a raise because you thought it was too much money? I'll bet you wouldn't and I'll bet you haven't. Why should Limbaugh turn down such a generous contract if his bosses want to pay him that kind of money? I mean, it's not like the senate where senators get to vote for their own salary increases, usually in the middle of the night in the fall. Limbaugh's compensation is determined mostly by his bosses at the radio network. If Limbaugh wasn't hauling in the listeners and advertising dollars, he'd be making roughly twice what Keith Olbermann is making in salary - which would be a significant pay cut for Rush.

Damn, waking up every day knowing you can't do a thing to change Limbaugh's well deserved compensation must be eating your guts alive. It's pretty obvious that several liberal posters have lost control of their bladders already. Good for Rush!!! I'm glad he's had good fortune. I hope all of you make millions in your lives too. pd, I'd wish you good luck too if I had your assurances that you'd know what to do with it. So now that Rush has his own private jet, he can fly down to the Dominican Republic with his other NAMBLA buddies and his illegal prescription of viagra in it. figures you would like Rush, you're probably one of those NAMBLA buddies of his

It makes liberals p**ss their pants in anger and it makes me laugh. $400 million for Rush. That's more than Olbermann and Franken make combined. That's both great and hilarious!!! Rush is indeed a great entertainer, sort of like Al Jolson with a cigar, without devoted listeners he'd be a no body, sort of like Michael Jackson and Britney Spears, in fact exactly like them, rich, drunk and loving it! Doesn't bother me in the least, I get up every day, make a great living and go to bed each night knowing I never was an addict, never lied about it, never paid my way out of a jam, always lived the life I teach my children about and go on with it. There's another place for hypocrites like Michael Jackson, Rush, OJ and all the rest, they may be above the meager resources of the authorities, but they are just in reach of the other form.

What do you mean I'm finished in November? Are you saying that if the democrats win, they're going to seek political and economic revenge on the wealthy and hard working people of this country? That's a hell of a threat, junior. Makes me want to vote for them (not). So what you're saying is that the democrat party is like the mob - people are gonna get whacked, right? There you have it ladies and gentlemen, the party of the common man wants to threaten and destroy their political opponents. Can you say Czar, pd? You guys are unhinged fanatics. It would be funny if you weren't walking around free on the streets. Thank God, Rush has his millions and millions of dollars.

Sure I would take a raise, who wouldn't, but I'd know that in the end, my employer is not absorbing the extra cost. If Rush is worth that kind of money, more power to him, but don't think for a minute you and I aren't paying for it. Everytime you buy a product that's advertised, your helping to pay him. If he's your hero, fine, buy everything advertised during his program, me, I'll never buy it.

I dedicated my life to criminal justice, really thought the "good guys" always won, and deserved to win, I was naive a few years of government work will do that to you. I still have my personal principles, and learned long ago never to listen to anyone who doesn't walk the walk. Which is why I hate politicians and politics, and entertainers like Rush and OJ and ll the rest, but really what does it say about our country that people of lesser morals and greater faults are drooled over like heroes from a Grecian play?

No, I don't have a problem with him using viagra, but I do have a problem when he gets it from an illegal prescription and is caught coming from the Dominican Republic, a destination known for child molesters who want to rape children, particularly little boys Second time he got caught with illegal drugs and got off. I would think that a good law abiding person like yourself would be furious at someone rich buying their way out of justice.

A democrat is never going to win in florida as long as republicans are in charge of the voting. Wake up.

And he doesn't have to stoop so low like Airhead America when they took money from the Boy's and Girl's club.......... No one has a problem with this. Bronx-based Gloria Wise Boys and Girls Club nearly shut down major programs recently, because almost $500,000 in governmental grant money was instead diverted to Air America's liberal radio network.
