PD is a cut and paste mindless zombie. I've learned long ago to ignore him and you'd do well to do the same. Before you do though.....if you're up for a few laughs you may wanna try a little game....it's called 'Get PD to form his own independent thought'. Ask him for his own opinion about something without the cut and paste and watch the hijinks ensue.<quoted text>
Another lockstep "elitist liberal". You obviously don't accept PD's theory that the media --all the mdeia-- is owned by Corporate America and therefore not to be trusted. So, if that is the case - we cannot trust a word PD pastes since it comes from that vile Corproate America. Ergo. We must ignore it

Wow! I almost choked after reading that. There will NEVER be democracy in the Middle East. That region was groomed to be a religious hotbed from day one. Ask any bible thumping moron. Bush is a complete idiot. You know that, I know that, the WHOLE world knows it! If McCain gets elected he won't last 6 months, the stress will be too much for a person nearing 100 years old. If obama gets elected he won't last 6 months, there are too many redneck racists in this country with a "plan". The US will then be back at square one. Not a pretty picture, is it? God HELP the once, great USA! |

O.K., so Rush is supposed to get a public defender and get the taxpayers to foot the bill when he has the means to hire the attorneys of his own choosing and pay them with money he earned? Should we not get the best attorneys to represent us if we have the means to pay for it ourselves? I think it is a BIG stretch calling Limbaugh an elitist. Being rich doesn't make one an elitist. Being wealthy while telling people they should do with less in life is elitist (Obama). Frankly, he's earned his money - he certainly wasn't born into it and he's not telling other people that they don't need "all that money" and he's not carping about anyone else making as much money as they please. Making big bucks is a part of and a benefit of living in America. |
And he is worth every penny! NOT! Sincerely, Our Troops, Our Police, and our Firefighters Perfectly Legal: The Covert Campaign to Rig our Tax System to Benefit the Super Rich- and Cheat Everyone Else http://tinyurl.com/ydf6r6 / April 18, 2004 One of the country's top investigative reporters reveals how the richest people within the top 1 percent of the country has rigged the tax code and other laws in its favor. Pulitzer Prize-winning investigative reporter David Cay Johnston has been breaking pieces of this story on the front page of The New York Times for nine years, work for which one business school professor calls him ěthe de facto chief tax enforcement officer of the United Statesî. With Perfectly Legal, he puts the whole shocking narrative together in a way that will stir up media attention and make readers angry about the state of our country. And he has sound advice on what to do. http://www.booknotes.org/Program/... |

.....and at the end of the day, Rush Limbaugh has a $400 million dollar contract, a private jet and a mansion in Florida. It makes liberals p**ss their pants in anger and it makes me laugh. $400 million for Rush. That's more than Olbermann and Franken make combined. That's both great and hilarious!!! |
Back in the 1950's when General Eisenhower was President the wealthiest top 1% of Americans had to pay 91% in taxes. Propaganda is to democracy what violence is to dictatorship. Ignorant masses who have to be marginalized for their own good. In the twentieth century it was the Liberal Progressive Era that benefited most Americans. The New Deal, The Fair Deal, The GI Bill, and the Great Society. That’s American history Ya Bush Dope Ya! Where were you educated? The school of Rush "From Drugs" Lying Corporatist Limbaugh? “Fox News Makes You Stupid” |
|
;His republican buddies have certainly taken good care of him, and who do you think all this money is coming from? Sure he has a good contract from radio - where do you you think they get their money from? You putz - hope you're laughing all the way to run and pay for him. |

Somebody thought Rush was worth it. Sorry you're jealous. But, like I've been saying, at the end of the day, Rush Limbaugh has a $400 million dollar contract through 2016, a private jet and a mansion in Florida. By the way, did I mention that he gives more money to charity than any dozen of you make in a year combined? Hey, please do continue to cut and paste more and more and more and more and more of your irrelevant garbage that nobody is taking the time to read. |
well said, if you or I were in the same boat, we'd have been arrested put on trial and probably pled out, Rush denied access to his medical records citing privacy concerns, upon the original allegation he went directly into rehab, hired a 2 million dollar attorney and avoided the criminal justice system just as Michael Jackson and to a lesser extent OJ Simpson, the lesson is the wealthy can buy their way out of anything, just like Ted Kennedy, to me they are all exactly the same. The best part is Rush claims to have suffered a neck injury, which got him addicted to pills, but he played golf just about every week, gotta love that standard! Unfortunately, it really doesn't matter what a person DOES in America, it's what he SAYS, it's the new millennium, welcome! BTW exactly how much "tax dollars" do you think it took to indict and investigate Rush, for a crime against the people of Florida?....maybe a couple hundred thousand? Chump Change to the ulta elites like Rush. |

.....and at the end of the day, Rush Limbaugh still has a $400 million dollar contract to work through 2016, a private jet, a mansion in Florida and gives more money to charity than any dozen liberals in this thread combined. Damn, waking up every day knowing you can't do a thing to change Limbaugh's well deserved compensation must be eating your guts alive. It's pretty obvious that several liberal posters have lost control of their bladders already. Good for Rush!!! I'm glad he's had good fortune. I hope all of you make millions in your lives too. pd, I'd wish you good luck too if I had your assurances that you'd know what to do with it. |

His money comes from advertising dollars and syndication fees. Don't know much about commercial radio do you? He also sells Rush Limbaugh products and a newsletter that bring in big bucks. But you know what? At the end of the day, while you're calling people putz, he has a $400 million dollar contract to work through 2016, a private jet, a mansion in Florida and gives more money to charity than you do. I'd say the accomplishments, wealth, philanthropy and the job security he enjoys kinda makes you feel a little inadequate doesn't it? So, would you turn down a raise because you thought it was too much money? I'll bet you wouldn't and I'll bet you haven't. Why should Limbaugh turn down such a generous contract if his bosses want to pay him that kind of money? I mean, it's not like the senate where senators get to vote for their own salary increases, usually in the middle of the night in the fall. Limbaugh's compensation is determined mostly by his bosses at the radio network. If Limbaugh wasn't hauling in the listeners and advertising dollars, he'd be making roughly twice what Keith Olbermann is making in salary - which would be a significant pay cut for Rush. |

So now that Rush has his own private jet, he can fly down to the Dominican Republic with his other NAMBLA buddies and his illegal prescription of viagra in it. figures you would like Rush, you're probably one of those NAMBLA buddies of his |
Rush is indeed a great entertainer, sort of like Al Jolson with a cigar, without devoted listeners he'd be a no body, sort of like Michael Jackson and Britney Spears, in fact exactly like them, rich, drunk and loving it! Doesn't bother me in the least, I get up every day, make a great living and go to bed each night knowing I never was an addict, never lied about it, never paid my way out of a jam, always lived the life I teach my children about and go on with it. There's another place for hypocrites like Michael Jackson, Rush, OJ and all the rest, they may be above the meager resources of the authorities, but they are just in reach of the other form. |

....and at the end of the day, Rush Limbaugh has a $400 million dollar contract through 2016, a private jet, a mansion in Florida and gives more money to charity than you do. What do you mean I'm finished in November? Are you saying that if the democrats win, they're going to seek political and economic revenge on the wealthy and hard working people of this country? That's a hell of a threat, junior. Makes me want to vote for them (not). So what you're saying is that the democrat party is like the mob - people are gonna get whacked, right? There you have it ladies and gentlemen, the party of the common man wants to threaten and destroy their political opponents. Can you say Czar, pd? You guys are unhinged fanatics. It would be funny if you weren't walking around free on the streets. Thank God, Rush has his millions and millions of dollars. |

yeah, yeah, yeah....whatever you say junior. You have a problem with Limbaugh using Viagara? I mean, does it both you that he's getting laid and you aren't? So you envy both his money and his sex life. Way to show yourself troop. He's got millions and good for him. Too bad you don't have the talent to make millions. With posts like yours I have to wonder, how much time do you spend in the naughty chair? |

My question hasn't been answered - do you think those syndication fees and advertisers bucks are coming out of the radio station pockets. Surely you can't be that naive. Sure I would take a raise, who wouldn't, but I'd know that in the end, my employer is not absorbing the extra cost. If Rush is worth that kind of money, more power to him, but don't think for a minute you and I aren't paying for it. Everytime you buy a product that's advertised, your helping to pay him. If he's your hero, fine, buy everything advertised during his program, me, I'll never buy it. |
