That's a lot of anger for a Sunday.<quoted text>
Yep, how do you like it, with me 'shoving it down your throat'! How does it taste! I don't care how you feel about it, I only tell you what I think, and if you think otherwise, then so be it, and if you can't take it, then go somewhere else.

Overall folks, I don't think we've accomplished much of anything on here other than bickering. I didn't expect and no one really ought to expect that an online forum can accomplish much. Basically we've jsut rehashed the same things we already knew.
So let me see if I have this right: 1) No one wants to be *forced* to live their life by someone elses standards. 2) many on here think that homosexuality is immoral for a variety of reasons 3) other (myself included) feel the majority should not judge morality. It simply isn't their place to. 4) the definition of marriage and the rights associated with it is variable depending on an individuals perspective around how the word is defined (ei. legally or religiously) 5) when folks in the majority and the minority feel threatened or imposed upon they tend to get definsive. 6) the same arguments people have been using for decades have been beaten to death in teh past 515 posts without really adding any new insite (with a few minor exceptions) 7) many have forgotten that we live in a country that allows people to enjoy personal liberty which sets us aside from many other countries in the world. We as US citizens have the right to live our lives any way we please as long as we are in accordance with the laws (and Lawerence v. Texas over turned may of the sodomy and sexual misconduct law people so selectively apply to homosexual activities forgetting to see that they also apply to many heterosexual activities as well) 8) Most of the people on here have free time on their hands that they could use to get out and try to make a difference for whichever side of this topic they are on, but I doubt that many people on here do more than talk. And that makes me a bit sad. Talk is one thing but standing up for your beliefs and doing something to affect your environment to reflect them is something different all together. Hope everyone had a great Fourth! Looking forward to interesting discourse on other topics. |

Yeah, a little too much, don't you think! I suppose I should tone it down somewhat. |
But the guy is human and you are interfering with his right to be happy. That is your argument isn't it, that everybody has the right to be happy regardless of laws. |
|
twisted logic. Nobody said that gay people can't be together in stable relationships. You don't have to be married to do that. And gay people were given civil unions, but that wasn't good enough. The bottom line is that gays are trying to force the American people to accept that their lifestyle is normal. It has followed a natural progression, it started with "what we do in our bedrooms is none of your business". The American people accepted that, but now it is "look at us, we are normal, the same as you". They use a bunch of twisted logic to try to confuse the issue, but the bottom line is that society as a whole will not accept their lifestyle. Homosexuality is wrong and they can't accept that. |

we have been granted the right to have some sort of legally recognized relationship in very few states. And those were hardly given, they were fought for. |
|
Not my argument at all. There is no right to be happy. That is Anonymous1's argument. My argument is the government can't discriminate against people based on religion, race, sex, etc. |

Hatred?, is that what you call it! I suppose a person like you would call it that, however, It is more like a total disagreement with what you said. If you choose to call it 'hatred', then I suppose that is your call, but all it is, is something that you would call anyone who disagrees with what you may call 'correct'! Personally, it seems to me, that you 'hate' what I am doing, so that seems to be what we could call 'hatred', right!!! Something like, the pot calling the kettle black!!! |

1 The lord God himself said eating shellfish was an abomination. ALL FEAR THE LOBSTER!(and I guess if you have eaten one, you get to share hell with the gays.) |
|
|
Gays are bigots also.
|
|
Yes. Gays are trying to outlaw Red Lobster. Its an abomination. |
|
And Christ said "love thy neighbor." Quit cherry-picking Scripture to reinforce your narrow-minded point of view. |

Makes no difference, it's wrong! And when you do things wrong, or you violate the law, there are consequences for breaking that law. Too bad you can't see that. God's Law is just, unlike those presided over by those so called judges here on Earth. And, just because He is just, does not mean there are not consequences for breaking a Law. Some day you may wake up and notice that. |
Yes. You will notice that, if you: "... cut the hair at the sides of your head or clip off the edges of your beard." (Leviticus 19:27) or "plant your field with two kinds of seed. Do not wear material woven of two kinds of material." (Leviticus 19:19) or EAT AT RED LOBSTER! "But all in the seas or in the rivers that do not have fins and scales, all that move in the water or any living thing which is in the water, they are an abomination to you." (Leviticus 11:10) "They shall be an abomination to you; you shall not eat their flesh, but you shall regard their carcasses as an abomination." (Leviticus 11:11) SO, all you who cut the sides of your hair, wear clothes, or eat shrimp will be joining the gays in hell. Maybe you should let the gays marry and focus your energy on outlawing, BestCuts, The Gap, and shrimp cocktail. |

You sure are funny, and kinda weird too. I guess you cut your own hair do you! Yes, I figured you did. Oh well, if you don't understand, I don't think there is any hope for you. Good luck slick. |
I got a better idea, why don't we round up all the gays and treat them to a lifetime of food from Red Lobster, clothes from the Gap, and haircuts at the Best Cuts. That way we can make certain that they end up in hell. You can lead the way Che! |

1 Also, it amazes me how much energy the Christians have put into keeping the gays from getting married. I mean, it is one of the biggest political issues. How come helping the less fortunate is not a big issue. You Christians could change that. Why not let your God deal with the gays, while you folks make helping the less fortune an important issue? Wouldn't that be the Christian thing to do? You Christians have proven to be hate-mongers and you pass judgment on anyone not like you. Isn't that against your beliefs? |
