But, that doesn't automatically make him a great president. in fact, war heroes are pretty much split on presidential success. Grant was mediocre, Eisenhower did okay, Kennedy was doing pretty well until the assassination, and Bush I was reasonably far from great.
What worries me about McCain is that he's shown he's too willing to compromise his long-held political positions just for expediency. While the traits are valuable, heroism has little to do with being president. Did you look at the questionnaire site I posted? Tell me obama isn't changing his views to just get votes. We all know McCain from his record on the senate -- what record does obama have and now he's trying to move to the right of that. he attended church today at a the oldest black church in America it was reported. Well good for him but then he says that he's always had a deep religious background-- bull!1 he only found the trinity church as he was entering politics. HMMM? Coincidental? I wonder! these are the personal things that are contridicted by his history that leaves me questioning his sincerity. Remember his gaff of religion and guns in Frisco -- that was an unguarded moment and defined him pretty well for me!! Sure he clarified that about three times but that too is his problem -- speaking his mind only to have his handlers tell him it needs clarification -- bull!

simply amazing!!! Obamas position was listed on his wensite months ago as the 2nd admentdent gives citizens the right to own guns. He also said in believed in reasonable laws & regulations concerning guns. This coincides with the important aspect of the SC ruling which said individuals had the right to own guns (as not the stupid militia argument. The idea of banning gun ownership in the homes was judged not "reasonable" & Obama agreed with that as most supporters of the 2nd admendment. No flip flop. Again, with nothing substantial, the right tries again to make something from nothing.

And I, too, believe that political correctness goes too far in some instances. I also believe, though that the term you're using has clear racial overtones. Maybe I'm wrong and maybe you don't take any notice of something as insignificant as a person's skin tone, but if that's the case, then why use a term like that to describe someone? Unless you actually believe that Sen. Obama runs an illegal prostitution business, then it's just inflammatory and insipid. Plus, it sounds like something you're just parroting from a media blowhard.
