Near Earth objects could come at us from any directions and ones that have not been identified would come at us with such great speed, we would have no warning at all. All we could hope for is that we are one of the lucky ones killed instantly in the blast that we didn't see coming. I would not want to be a survivor of the initial impact, because survival would be short and brutal. It's a waste of time to talk about this kind of event. If it happens, then it is all over for mankind and everything else on this planet that can't burrow into the ground and stay there indefinitely.
