If you really are a Leominster "parent", one would think you'd place herself in the mother's shoes of this stab victim in the room next to you. These 3 men are blessed they did not die, and until you have to sit in a hospital room day after day praying for your child to live, you might want to keep your "rediculous" comments to yourself. By the way, you're lucky it only took 4 hours... ER visits can take up to 12 hours... welcome to reality.

I'm not saying I was inconvenienced by the stab victim, my point was because of that jerk who attacked them it had a ripple effect. I do have compassion and if it was my son I would have been very upset as well. But when you are lying in pain yourself and all you can hear is someone fighting against people who are trying to help them it can get a little annoying. Even the staff was getting annoyed. For the record, I don't believe the guy in that room was the one who had to have surgery because they never moved him from the ER....at least not before 5 AM when I left. And just because I said it was a rediculous fight does not mean I am placing blame. It was rediculous, senseless, avoidable, and should have never happened just like any type of violence, doesn't matter who was involved or whose fault it was.

Following your lead of getting technical, the term "arms" usually implies firearms but actually means weaponry - it could refer to a knife, rock, or whatever, and could even be construed to include bodyguards. Just A Thought wrote: <quoted text>Yes, you are right...the 2nd Amendment gives the people the right to bear arms. The 2nd Amendment to the United States Constitution's Bill of Rights declares a well-regulated milita as "being necessary to the security of the free State" and prohibits infringement of "the right of the people to keep and bear arms." This is the among the most contested amendment in the Constitution as far as it's interpretation goes. Maybe you are a "proponent" of the 2nd Amendment and maybe you have your LTC, and if you do, good for you. However, keep in mind that we are talking about a knife here, not a gun. Also, if you really want to get technical, the use of deadly force (granted no one died in this altercation, which we are thankful for) to protect oneself in the state of MA is permitted ONLY if he/she has no avenue of escape. So, first off, he was NOT attacked by the three individuals, and secondly, if he WAS attacked by them and it happened in the parking lot, he was NOT cornered anywhere where his life was in imminent danger. So, technically, self-defense will NOT hold up.

However, as I had stated, this is among the most contested amendment as far as it's interpretation goes. Also, I had had brought up the technical issues for his SELF-DEFENSE, NOT for the 2nd Amendment. And yes, if you want to get "technical" and debate about this, was this person (Muniz) part of a milita interested in protecting the "free state" of the Commonwealth? Was he protecting his rights and property in the interest of MASSACHUSETTS? You see what I'm saying? Again, the 2nd Amendment is among the most argued amendment...get my point?

What you should really be printing is how the real victims are recovering and the damge this has done to theier life. This paper should try checking the facts before printing blatant lies!!! Christina - Where you there that night? How do you know he was coked up? Do you know the girl who got the bottle thrown at her; my understanding is this girl / her boy who there the bottle at her was at the root of the issue that evening... I'd love to know who she was and why Luis felt it necessary to stand up for her. The Luis I know would be the first one to abuse a woman or say "the B*tch probably deserved it". Peculiar that is that he was arguing with the dude that threw the bttle, trying to be a hero... anything you can add to this, I wasn't there but this is what I heard from the guy that Luis was there with that night... I want him SMOKED in court. He is a menace to society and treats people I love like dirt. He deserves to go away for a long time! Thanks for your anticipated response :)

Did you see for yourself the fight go down?

Christina wrote: <quoted text> If you know them at all you would no that they DID NOT start the fight and 2 stand up guys get a grip and don't comment on people you don't know personally Funny - I know Luis - hate him w/ a passion, hope he gets smoked in court BUT my fiance grew up with the three victims and was close friends with two of them. The one that was injured bad he says, was a real quiet nice kid - he was actually shocked that he was involved. My fiance being involved himself years ago in a barroom brawl which started from being a sucker punched from one of the victims, who his "friend" at the time it happened. He knows him Joe and knows he is not a "stand up guy" and is a punk fully capable of starting fights and being dirty about it. I am not a fan of Luis, the one who did the stabbings, to say the least I hate him BUT these "victims" have been notorious for years for getting drunk and starting fights in bars so if they're your friends I can see that you'd stick up for them but to stay they are "stand up guys" just means you have poor taste in acquaintances! Someone that throws beer bottle at a girl is not my idea of a stand up guy - Christina, the only reason I can fathom why you would compliment Joe like that is if he's sticking it to you real good or else you're afraid of him too - just like Shannon was.... Three white boys in an establishment they frequent where they were known by many witnesses... a puerto rican from out of town doesn't stand a chance... not that I think he deserves one.... but you should take a look at your morals. Perhaps you are the girls who got the bottle thrown at her - in that case get some therapy because obviously your in a typical abusive relationship with this loser... it's turn off to see women with such little backbone. Be a power of example not a victim yourself.

Shotz patron wrote: <quoted text> Well I was there that night and I'm not a moron, thank you very much... The man who did the stabbing, actually started his evening by picking fights in your precious "residential" area at a house party and then moved his antics to the parking lot at Shotz where he proceded to start fights AGAIN...so now what? should they "shut-down" the house now because some lunatic went nuts??? Give me a break... Where you at the house party too or just at the bar? If you weren't at the house party before hand than your comment is nothing more than hearsay... why would he be at a house party with a bunch of people in town that he doesn't even live in? If he started the fight like you say, and you were there what was the reason for his antics? It had to be over drugs, a girl, or something else... I do know Luis personally. He is and has been on the top of my shit list for years but I can't see him starting shit or "antics for no reason", as much as a scum bag he is he wouldn't do that for nothing. Was there a girl behind it? Perhaps it had something to do with drugs? If you were there the whole night than you must have been at the party too, and also must know that he was in the bar for quite sometime playing pool with his boss and argued with a guy who threw a beer bottle at his own girlfriend. No one has mentioned anything abut the abusive prick who attempted to assault his own girl.... What's up with that?!?!

cousin ralph wrote: <quoted text>That was teh suspect, not the victims. The victims were flown and ground transported to Worcester! Wrong Uncle Ralph... The suspect was lifeflighted directy to UMass Medical to have the fluid drained from his brain after being so severly beated by Leominster PD. The whiners in the ER were the suspects... nothing like picking a fight and then being a pussy after suffering the consequenses. Not only dud the "alleged stabber have to have fluid drained from him=s brain (from being severly beaten by Leominsters finest) he has oermanent disfigurement on his face, numbers carved into his torso and armsfrom the three tht jumped him... he's got a major law uit on his hands... as for Hot Shotz - they wont be in operations for musch longer. Discrimination played a huge factor in this case - he was the only non-white person in the joint that night... all the so called victims where white boys - Luis' father in law was the Captain of a police Department not to far by and extreme action will be taken against the establlishment, the 3 co- called "victems and the staff od hot shotz - notoriously known for discriminating against anyone who is not white... buena suerte for all those who think they are getting away with this debacle and as far as leominster PD goes.... they should ll go back to Policy Academy, this time not the movie rendition put the real deal! If you're not white I suggest you stay out of the Leominster bar scene or else YOU could be te next victim! If anyone say the disfigurement of Luis face in the paper - ALL A DIRECT RESULT OF LUIS' take down and arrest from Leominsters finest! Way to go LPD - Protet & Serve gentelmen - oh, that is for you white folks. Anyone of color - stay out of Leominster. They want you, crime or not, they'll pin one on you even if your just a tad bit dark. My father was the Capt. of the PD in the town I grew up in - discrimination happens EVERYWHERE! They used to talley up the beatdowns given to non-white and brag about it - no disciplinary action was ever take - EVER- protect and serve... sounds nice but it should be protect the whiles, serve the black and Lationo with agood old fashion ass whoopin... they they compare notes... As sick as this sounds I grew up around this. It's the honest to god truth! All of you people of color, you better watch your behinds - you're next!

Leominster Parent wrote: <quoted text> Well then that explains the guard outside his door... Hello Parent...the guard outside the door was FOR the victim - one of three who jumped Muniz for protecting the girl whom one of the victims threw a beer bottle at the head of his so called girlfriend. It reminds me of a story my boyfriend told me regarding the same man / victim - Joe - who sucker punched my boyfriend against the head for "talking to his girlfriend" a local skank named "Psycho Shannon" (remember the slashed tires Shannon?) in that same bar. The girl came up to him... little did he know she had a boyfriend. Joe - one of the so-called victims sucker punched my ex-boyfriend while the bouncers watched... the victim is doing a great job at playing "victim" but he, the owner of Hot Shotz and Leominster PD are up for big surprise during the trial... these 3 "victims" better have some good lawyers working on their side because thier world as they know it will be flipped upside down with new evidence which will be brought forth during trial... HA HA HA!! Be ready SUCKERS! BTW - if you are parent PLEASE don't let your children hang out in white trash bar establishments like Hot Shotz... it's been notorious for fights, stabbings, shootings and illicit drug deals for years. Lets jut say its not by any stretch a classy place. If your looking for easy & CHEAP hookers, any tyoe of drugs imaginable and bouncers that look the other way when a fight breaks out or if not looks the other way to root it on until the victim is disfigured and unconcious than its a perfcest place to send your children... These 3 victims, whether they've been caught or not have been into doing and selling drugs for years, soliciting prostitues and pass their thier time bar picking bar room fights for years. The truth WILL come out in trial. I actually feel sorry for them. Hot shotz can say Buy-Bye to all of their licenses too. Hey, maybe once they lose their liquor license they can tun that dump into dry strip club (as it border lines one already) or some type of pool/dart hal/ strip/ whore house. A good place to start is by hiring bouncers who are bit taller than 5.6" .Ski does a great job - he's wonderful at doing ABSOLUTELY F*CUKING NOTHING!!! His wfirey might make a good dancer - bones, no tities all that yeasty troll hag junk bomb of a whife! Leominster... ahhh the smell of white tracs pollutes the air I love white trash and if you do tooo Head on over to Hoty Shotz where if your white, trashy and have drugs to give away to staff you'll have a grand old time. Peopple of color beware - you will be severly beatedm jumped and upon protecting yourelf be charge with three count of attmpted murder. Those three punks have had good old fahion as whoopin coming to the for years. Muniz didn;t know them from Adam, no=r do I know Muniz but I know plenty others who have bee waiting to seek vengeance on that place and thier shady way about conducting thier above ground liquor business and thier underground drug and prostitues ring.... HAHAHAHHA good luck in court fellas.(I'll be in the back with the pom-pom rooting for your demise) I suggest you hire top notch lawyers, hey, wait do they actually have any of those in Leominster? Also be prepared for the new charges that will be caught upon by your three. My best advise is RUN & HIDE unless you're too scared and rather serve the time that is coming to you..... there is a nice warm pace in between Big Papi Chulo's ass cheeks waiting for up state in Shrley Max. Don't forget to pack you blanky' boys.... ;)
