'Oh well,' mom says from jail, as her friend worries for Caylee
Nite y'all! Gotta get up early tomorrow morning -- going on vacation. I hope this is solved very soon because hearts are breaking all over the place for Caylee. Just in case, keep looking for her! (Jul 28, 2008 | post #2977)

Well, I have to admit, that's what it has turned into...or rather than entertainment, perhaps a little insight into the family dynamics. I would love to believe that Caylee is alive and well and some good soul is taking very good care of her. But I just don't see that after having seen and heard her mother - the phone calls and in the courtroom. Think I'd have to be excused from the jury pool. (Jul 28, 2008 | post #2961)

LOL! Thanks for lightenin' things up a bit! (And now you're catching your own mistakes too...what an education we're getting here, huh?) (Jul 28, 2008 | post #2922)

Apparently she was with enough of them to get their advice on hiring a good attorney... (Jul 28, 2008 | post #2913)

The reason the calls are being released is because they are REQUESTED by the media. If CNN wanted to have copies of the recordings of Joe Blow's phone calls to his mother, they would get those too, as long as the information shared didn't hinder their investigation. The phone calls would not be released if they were not requested. (Jul 28, 2008 | post #2906)

The media (TV crew) asked Cindy who was paying for the attorney....she replied "you don't need to know." (Jul 28, 2008 | post #2904)

No...first there is the burglary of 2 gas cans; then there is the burglary of the gas in the cans. (Jul 28, 2008 | post #2879)

I've thought that was a possibility too. And I think they really want to believe in Casey, but are very concerned as to the whereabouts of Caylee. She certainly won't break down and tell them anything if they openly go against her now. She may not break anyway...but at least this gives them a little hope perhaps. (Jul 28, 2008 | post #2872)

Nothing is private in jail...not even the bathrooms, so I don't know what the heck they expect. Oh...special privileges like she's apparently used to having. They also have to eat jail food or just not eat because Dominos doesn't deliver to them. They have a right to an attorney...that's about it. If the atty doesn't want the phone calls released, he should tell her to quit making them. This is getting asinine. (Jul 28, 2008 | post #2870)

Maybe she should ask for a chaplain...he/she could read a few verses that would apply. And if she's that religious, she probably has memorized Psalm 23... (Jul 28, 2008 | post #2865)

When asked by media who was paying for the atty., Cindy looked at them and said, "you don't need to know!" She needs to take a sleeping pill for a couple of days. (Jul 28, 2008 | post #2859)

I think for the most part channel 9 gets it right. They may do some overkill on the reporting but they seem to take pains to be more accurate. I never watch channel 2 - well, just because. (Jul 28, 2008 | post #2850)

I'm surprised he hasn't told Casey to quit talking to anyone on the phone. Give her enough rope, she'll likely hang herself. She's already looking like a completely cold and calculating Witch who cares nothing for her child. Wouldn't help her any if she should go to trial -- but of course we already know there would be a change of venue. (Jul 28, 2008 | post #2846)

Just heard it on channel 9: www.wftv.com Don't know if they have it on the website yet... (Jul 28, 2008 | post #2696)

At the price of gas it might be grand theft! Ok, maybe not, but it could easily be 10 gallons of gas and 2 five gallon cans. (Jul 28, 2008 | post #2695)
