Portable GPS units establish defendants' whereabouts, help pros...
TNT, it doesn't matter if the media tells future murderers about things like this or not.... they will still learn about them. Really, most of our murders would go away if people would stop trying to piss other people off on a daily basis. My cousin nearly got killed by her boyfriend, and after her mother and mine heard about it and the circumstances around it... both of them said she was asking for it, to be nearly killed. David Duchovny in sex addiction treatment
Give me a BREAK! There is no such thing as 'sex addiction'. That is a made-up term by women and men who have a problem with other women and men who get more nookie or c*** than they do! I swear..... unless he is going out, groping females or males in public, etc..... he does not have sex addiction (not that anyone really would). (Thursday Aug 28 | post #8)
Microsoft IE8's new privacy feature getting an inconvenient lab...
MPMARTIN, he is showing that most of the people who are giving this feature the 'porn browsing' label are holier than thou religious idiots, who really our world would be much better without. (Thursday Aug 28 | post #4)
Jury acquits former Marine in killing of Iraqis
I also have to say that I agree with the man in this case that this should have been heard in a military court, not a civilian one.... but the military courts have a habit of 'white-washing' events, so I am not too upset that this did go before a civilian court. (Thursday Aug 28 | post #12)
Jury acquits former Marine in killing of Iraqis
Hey, they had a good reason to bring this marine to court. They have numerous witnesses INCLUDING IN HIS OWN UNIT (something most of you overlooked) that said that he went from being a soldier to being a murderer. Now, his unit members did say that they didn't see him fire the shots but did hear the gunshots..... easy answer to whether this guy killed the detainees: ballistics testing and cartridge testing. If even ONE bullet in these detainees matched his gun and they were tied up... I am sorry, that proves that he murdered them. (Thursday Aug 28 | post #11)
Airline Removes Life Vests To Save Weight, Fuel
Hey, in tropical climates that might actually work! And no, I am not being funny, I am being serious here. People keep on getting on the airlines cases for raising rates (I get on their case for that as well). But whenever they try to do something to save money, that removes even a small bit of safety (in this case, it really doesn't), people get on their case as well.... the airlines just cannot win. Really, we need to start getting on the oil companies cases, and ask them why they say "We are broke!" when they are making obscene profits! It's simply time to put in place price controls on gasoline and oil in the world, and tell the Middle Easters where to stick their oil! (Thursday Aug 28 | post #21)
Airline Removes Life Vests To Save Weight, Fuel
Well, I was going to get on their case about this until I heard that their planes don't fly over much water, if any at all. If that is the case, then these life vests are not really necessary. You are more likely to have to ditch over LAND than water, in all honesty. (Thursday Aug 28 | post #20)
Russia pays heavily for war in Georgia and tensions with the West
Russia and the United States as well need to learn that there is NO justification for invading another country unless they attacked you first.... and the fact of the matter in this Georgia case is that Russia sent in people to raise tensions in this South Ossetia place, in order to have justification for invading and bombing. San Onofre Journal - Nudists Want State to Look the Other Way
Hey, easy solution to this: build a fence, clearly mark this as a 'clothing optional' beach, and move on. Frankly, I am not too concerned about my children seeing others naked or even doing the nasty. They have seen people naked (myself and their mother) before in their lives and have even walked in on me and my girlfriends making love.... they just walked out of the room and when I asked them about it later, they said "It's okay... I knew you did stuff like that with your girlfriends, just next time.... put a sign on the door!" which I admittedly have always forgotten to do. (Wednesday Aug 27 | post #1)
Va. lawyer pleads guilty to federal fraud charges
You know, this is why lawyers have a bad name, speaking as a paralegal myself. Shit like this gives lawyers an extremely bad name, though I honestly don't know why people keep on comparing people like this with my boss, who turned in one of HIS bosses once when he found out he had done something extremely similar to this 30 years ago. Prince William Schools Report Data Breach On Web
Why was this stuff on a server or computer connected DIRECTLY to the web in the first place? This is freaking STUPID to the nth degree..... I really hope that they fire/possibly jail the person who was responsible for this computer network. (Wednesday Aug 27 | post #1)
Census puts poverty rate in Buffalo at 28.7%, one of highest in...
Who else is getting seriously tired of this crap against young unmarried women who have children? The fact is, Bilbo the idiot, that females today should not have to wait to have children. Why? Because if they have children when they are older, even as 'young' as 25-30 years old.... the number of birth defects, cases of autism, etc. skyrockets. If anything, we should be encouraging females to have children while they are very YOUNG.... like in the age range of 13-21, when they are almost guaranteed to have a healthy baby, as some of my friends in high school had babies that young and their children are healthier than the ones who 'waited'. On another point, if you really don't want those females to be having children.... allow them to get on birth control at the age of 7 or whenever they start their first period (whichever is first), make it MANDATORY that females have to be on birth control unless they sign an agreement saying that they are going to be celibate or won't expect society to support them or their children if they DO get pregnant, and start raising the minimum wage so that these 'unmarried women' can have children and pay for them! That is the REAL problem: the extremely low minimum wage and the obscene amounts of 'experience' and 'education' that businesses are asking for, even speaking as a white male with an IQ of 160 who went to college and admittedly washed out the first time. Most of the jobs in question needs more ON THE JOB experience which a person cannot get without being hired for the jobs, which businesses don't want to hire women with children because they unjustly think "Woman with children? She'll ALWAYS be needing to flee the job for emergencies connected with her children!" which is actually not true, even for high-school dropouts with children. (Wednesday Aug 27 | post #13)
FAA Computer Problem Causing Flight Delays
Now, airline delays are not THAT bad, Gomer. True, I haven't been on a plane recently, but my parents and relatives have.... it isn't that much of an annoyance. (Wednesday Aug 27 | post #5)
FAA Computer Problem Causing Flight Delays
Well, considering how ANTIQUATED the FAA's system is (they are updating, but are taking too long about it!), I am surprised this didn't happen earlier than it did. Really, they need to have a week or so where they tell all major airports "Okay, shut down, we are going to upgrade our entire system RIGHT NOW, in one fell swoop!" and do it. Not piecemeal it. Parents outraged as school bans cartwheels
It's about time that people told these school districts where they can stick their 'lists of what is acceptable' during recess. I told my cousin's teachers where they could stick their list when I was volunteering at a local school, and my cousin and the rest of the kids played tag, with all the running around. Most of the parents were GLAD that I got their kids playing a physical game and supported me when the school tried to get me in trouble. The ones who didn't..... after listening to their BS about why they didn't want their children playing tag, kickball, etc..... it became clear even to the school administration that those parents shouldn't have had kids in the first place, because they were OBSCENELY overprotective. In fact, many of those parents had investigations started against them by social services and quite a few had their children taken away from them for neglect. (Tuesday Aug 26 | post #38)
