Wii Fit Suffers the Same Fate as Most Exercise Equipment: Survey

Ever buy a piece of home exercise equipment? If you have, you've probably also experienced the typical result: after a brief spurt of usage, the equipment ended up in the garage, or at least unused. It's often the fate of gym memberships as well.

In related important news, the makers of Wii entertainment systems have reached an accord with Tri-Star pictures and "forrest Gump " star Tom hanks to re-fit the new Wii exercise game with a "Marathon cross country " run game featuring Forrest as your running m,ate. Along the way, passersby and media figures will believe you and Gump must be some mesiah like prophets and will ask you all sorts of questions and offer you endorsements and want "prophetic quotes". This will make the otherwise extremely boring marathon running game much more exciting and will also help the obese gain some "gumpiness" and become adept at stupis sayings that the gump charactor will utter during the game from time to time, suchas "momma always said Life is like a box of chocolattes, you never know what your gonna get" ..Wii executives plan a huge TV commercial ad campaign and are currently casting obese people and Gump look alikes at Culver City's Warner Studio's.
