It isn't a production thing. It is price gouging from the oil producing nations all of the way to the American oil companies. The next time one of these nations need our help we should shun their asses.

It's asinine to believe that an American leader like Bush can control global petroleum prices and production. Only the owners of the biggest oil fields have a say so in global oil prices, and that's not us anymore. We need to start drilling off shore and anywhere we think there might be oil.

The cooperation between the Saudi King Abdullah that support the building of thousands of Islamic terrorist training Madrassas and the US liberal socialistic senators and Reps that control US Congress is amazing.
Saudi Arabia king will never forget the ‘gift’ from the 1995 veto on US oil production of Bill Clinton who is still raking month after month millions of dollars from the Saudi Arabian radical Islamic regime and from Dubai sheiks for promoting their oil sales and for preventing US oil production through his wife in the US Congress.
The US left wing liberal socialists that rule US Congress are supporting the defeat of US troops to the Islamic terrorists that are financed by King Abdullah.
In addition, US corrupt politicians support the self-destruction of US economy with high oil prices for the sake of the election of the socialist-Marxist Hillary Clinton as president.
With 100 senators ruled by the anti US troops Senate leader Reid that already called US troops losers in Iraq war, the American people are held hostages to King Abdullah that called the American people “his slaves” as an Islamic terrorist 'joke'.
The only question is what national disaster need to happen to US national security and economy to make these 100 un-American US Senators change their pro radical Islamic minds and to free the American people from King Abdulla and his Islamic terrorists and allow US companies to start drilling oil in US abundant resources that are larger than Saudi resources?
Why should US troops sacrifice their precious lives and go to protect the oil fields of the radical Islamic regimes in the Middle East?
Why should 100 US un-American Senators force our US troops to go to war in the Middle East if not for protecting the Islamic regimes and their Islamic terrorists’ income from oil sales when US can become energy independent within months or few years using its own oil, gas, oil shale, coal, tar and hydrates to produce gasoline at half the price for the next 500 years to come…?

Well Steve it's not like it hasn't been tried before.
It just never was sent through as a wolf sheeps clothing. So what does he do goes out and picks a fight with an unarmed country. Then comes back and tells us it's all in the name of anti-terror.
So now everytime there is a suggestion of lowering oil prices he can get Petraeus to attack something that will rumor the stock market. I have a good friend that is a mgr. at a gas station and she says she has yet to order more gas than she ever did before. Never has there been a delay in her getting it before or since the war has been going. So yes you are correct it is a price gouge plan that will run out in Jan. thank God.

This refusal is nothing but an act of terrorism.
What are they doing with all this money they are sucking from our pockets? Go to London, New York, Paris, Cairo, Pretoria or Abu Dhabi and have sex with prostitute in luxury hotels.
They should be arrested and jailed.

That was a shocking news! no d`not think sooo. Come to real the Pride that America had, Financial infulence, Power etc all are gone with the Low Dollar.
This is not time to see who is president or not. who doing what, who to help or not. It is time to take control of the american economie. If the dollar keep falling against Euro, its not far that Someoil producing countries start selling the oil on Euro!
At the moment most international export is done on Usd but for how long!
At the moment BBl is 127 usd what will happen if Bush goes to was with Iran... Will they be able to pay 150-175 bbl!
America just need to pull their support from afganistan, Iraq and so on etc countries and if they need help , bargain at that time , "i help you but in return i need x or y or z"

The foreign oil is rising in price due to the futures pricing on Wall Street and other markets. Not due to a short supply of oil.We have oil enough for years but Congress and environmentalists refuse the oil companies permission to drill, sooo oil is there but we can not go get it.Congress would rather pay American dollars out the eyeballs than dril here.We still have at least one oil company trying to do their part.Go to:Marathon.com/garyville.This refinery is going to produce 180,000 barrels more than before!!

Bush's trip was merely a "show" for the American people to make it appear that he was trying to do something.

I can assure these $$$$rapists that cash will not buy them entrance into the Kingdom of GOD's Heaven. Promise!

Oil Co's are to blame, limitations on drilling are to blame, feds could drop all federal taxes and keep them off.

Ragheaded rapists are to blame as well.

Oil can be pressure heated out of coal and with the USA being #1 in reserves this is one option.

Oily sand produces oil.

Change the damn limits in Alaska and offshore to allow drilling where USGS has already known oil exists in vast quantities.

Make the damn corn/sugar cane ethanol and farmers stop your freaking bitching.

The world screams "food". It's not the USA's responsibility to feed the world nor come to the aid of the WHOLE WORLD. Saudi's, Russia, China, and the rest do about 1/10 of what the USA does in a disaster. This is bull.

My driving has been cut down to 1/3rd of what it used to be. I'm doing my part.

The Saudis do Not want to deal with Bush. King Abdullah has said there is no shortage or better yet tell us what you want and we will drill for it.
He even promised to help them build nuclear power. To get them to drill.

Nice.. give the saudis Nuclear capabilities. Pissa Idea Georgie! Considering a 1/3 of the men involved in 911 were of Saudi descent.

Is this enough to convince you Bush hangers on. Even people that owe us are telling him to screw.
They can't figure him out and do not trust him.
Read a Saudi paper online once in awhile. They cannot understand why he does what he does in regards to our economy. It makes no sense to them.

Hell it makes no sense to me.

Blow it out yer azz. You know damn well if congress, fascist environmentalists, or Clinton had attempted to implement alternative energy sources you would have squealed like a struck pig.

Consider this an opportunity to decrease our dependence on oil and invest in and adopt energy alternatives. Won't happen overnight, but in the meantime, sacrifice. This is one time where your U.S. citizenships means little and entitles you to nothing. Welcome to the global stage.

The Saudi currency is pegged to gold. They have not raised the price, its still somewhere between 6 and 9 barrels per ounce of gold. Cry all you want about the USD cost but to the Saudi's its the amount of gold that a barrel gets that drives them.
Did the Saudi's drive up the cost of copper ?
How about corn and wheat, who did that ?
Its always somebodies fault, other than our own, for high prices.
If corn, oil, wheat, beef, copper, orange juice, steel, are all up does that mean each nation of the world is in a conpiracy to destroy us ?
Come on people, the one common thing is the dollar itself, the true market value of the currency. Federal government deficit spending and over inflation of the currency is the cause of this commodities bubble. Artificially fixed intrest rates and expansion of currency along with poor monetary policy and overregulation has created the problem, not all this blame game stupid stuff !

Listen pizza face, the fascist environmentalists are one of the main groups advocating for alternative fuels. They are advocating so we can become energy independent. You just want more oil so you can continue on your merry way. Oil is not the answer.

Fascist environmentalists played a large part in getting corn as a fuel. The down side of this is a decrease in acreage for food and an increase in acreage for fuel because farmers can get better money for fuel than for food.(These “farmers” are not mom and pop outfits, their big agri-business and they are NOT your friend. They grow and sell that which makes the most money and right now corn-as-fuel is a money maker. This is part of the reason food prices have gone up.)

Yes, fascist environmentalists and many ordinary Americans do not want to drill anywhere in the U.S. for oil and they don’t want to build more refineries because that is a short-term answer. To do so would instill in us a false sense of energy security. What we need are alternatives, a long-range solution. Nuclear? Personally, I like the idea; but many don’t.

Energy dependency is killing us and oil is a short-term remedy. We need alternatives. Let me try to get through that thick, dull skull of yours by repeating what I wrote before: until we find these alternatives, sacrifice. This is one time where your U.S. citizenships means little and entitles you to nothing. Welcome to the global stage.

The way to get Saudia to increase gasoline production is for the United States to raise the price of a bushel of corn to $127.00 a bushel and see if that doesn't wake them up. We supply the majority of food to these rag heads and it's time to quit kissing their butts. See how much sand those fools can eat and let them do without our food for awhile and see who wins in the end.
