De bate. Is this issue in itself not de basing? What is the difference between the EU and NATO? Did NATO come forward promptly after the cessation of aggression in 1999 and provide Serbia with the maps Serbia requested on the location of the cluster-bomb munitions that were dropped? Nyet. However, the US State Department boasted in 2005 it had provided 141 million dollars in land mine clearing equipment to Croatia. Was this aquiesence on the part of the EU/NATO not a not so subtle indication that Serbian children, farmers, people do not matter? The further loss of life and limb of no concern? Lets look at The US Dept. of States news today about this region. The Bureau of European and Eurasian Affairs, headed by Assistant Secretary Daniel Fried, implements U.S. foreign policy in Europe and Eurasia. The Bureau promotes U.S. interests in the region on issues such as national security, NATO enlargement, coordination with the European Union and other regional organizations, support for democracy, human rights....... Human Rights? Democracy is a rubber band! It is 'static' and does not exist in the world for one. Two, providing in a timely manner the cluster bomb maps would have shown Serbia that genocide upon the Serbs was not the intention of the NATO bombing. And Kosovo? Resolution 1244. Kosovo is Serbian, was is and forever will be. Dont let the two issues blend into one. This EU membership will steal your identity as a people. Slowly, incrementally as they now seek to completely steal Kosovo.
